That's $250,000 per player, not counting other events. Only MVP in 2011 had more, barely, with $253,000. Next one down is MC with $139,000. That's crazy. Really crazy. And that's if they DONT win!

In the finals both teams should be on even footing, that's a real final. Then they shouldn't use double elimination. I agree that particularly for these teams and the dominance they showed in the group stages it doesn't really matter how it ends up the finals. But that's specific to those two teams and coincidental. In regards to the post-group stage, I think that if you're using double elimination, you should use the proper format.

There was a lot of luck involved in splitting the 16 teams into 2 groups. If you really want to argue about fairness, argue that the whole tournament should be league format. Maybe if Tongfu was in group A, they could have gone to Upper Bracket?

Barrier Idol is the exact copy of Pipe. Energizer is kind of similar yeah, but drums don't have the phase and have a constant 5% movement speed aura

There's always hundreds of whine-posts in SC2 double-elim finals because one side having an advantage in grand finals before the actual grand finals even start is not very... grand. Now Valve does it this way and lo and behold, hundreds of whine posts again. Personally, I like this way a lot more, especially if the grand finals are played on same day as other matches. There is absolutely no reason to think that coming from winner's bracket is NOT an advantage, so it's not like teams are going to throw games or whatever. You're going to be fresher, maybe have an extra special strat saved up, have an extra chance to observe your opponents' games... it is an advantage, however small you may want to claim it is - and the finals actually start off on even footing, which is nice. Just have single elim instead, then. Fairness is pretty important when a million dollars is on the line. Also those people who complain don't know the format. Don't give the team that wins all their sets a disadvantage in comparison to all the others. Does that make sense to you ? And with all that rant out of the way IG-LGD is starting, let's see what'll happen.

Yeah, the entire crowd riding your dick when you kill a creep, and they're not even from your continent. More experience, being the previous champions, and what seems like a tighter knit group. A mastermind like Puppey who's confident in his teammates abilities. And Dendi, obviously. That's the Na'Vi advantage.

That is what ? 8-10 hours straight ? Complete bullshit if you ask me. I will not be surprised if Na`Vi stomp them in the final, just because LGD are exhausted. That's the advantage of winner bracket that many people are not counting in.

Yeah, apparently after plans with Na'Vi fell through they were supposed to bootcamp with coL but that didn't happen either.

Now he says everytime LGD faced IG they always split Morphling and Lone Druid between them and the team with Lone Druid always won. I almost feel like I don't need to watch this first game now, LOL. If Bruno gets this right he is upgraded to the Statgod. *shakes head* Yeah, those Bruno stats are getting better and better despite how weird he sound lol.

He sure played consistently in all 3 of these games - I just said he was the best player in the series. Yet for some reason many carry players still fail at it especially when their team is getting crushed - This was not the case with XBOCT. This actually was the case with LGD's carry who's regarded to be a far better player - Funny isn't it? There probably were several situations where Dendi for instance fucked up as well, getting hit by that ravage comes to mind. Making mistakes isn't as bad if the rest of your play is so good. Well I sure wish I had a player in my team who when nervous manage to carry his team with a 11-2 score 650+ gpm 400+ cs despite making mistakes. Oh man how dreadful. And don't forget that, again, he was #1 in farm in the game Na'Vi lost despite getting decimated earlygame and being against one of the best carries in the world. In that he was the only player who actually did anything. You do not understand doto. Sorry! LGD vs iG will be exciting as hell tho, it'd be interesting to see if either of the teams have the balls to copy the anti-Naga strats from NaVi.
