Perhaps Grand Finals with BO3 would be feasible in this case... Then have a single elimination bracket if you can't go all the way and are going to pussy out at the end, duh? Bo5s would be preferred but Bo3s might work, you can't do half-assed shit like this in a tournament this prestigeous.

LGD are not rewarded at all for initially beating iG, it is not relevant to LGD if iG are better than whoever is in LB final. They deserve a one game advantage, screw whatever people think is exciting. There is a ton of money at stake here. LGD are awarded a spot in the finals....

If they just let iG and LGD play a Bo5 for the finals because they were clearly the better team of each group, afterall the beat everyone else in a completelly fair enviroment, it would be a bad tournament. Worse, but more fair than even double elimination. Don`t pretend winning the WB finals is not better than losing it and having to play the LB finals. It clearly is, so it`s an advantage, even if it is smaller than starting 1-0.

Have you ever played in a tournament with money on the line and been in the finals ( Note I have multiple times) It's not an award, they earned it. When you go to the loser's bracket, it's not a punishment, it's "oh my god I'm so happy I have another chance and I'm not dead right away". When you go into the finals after BEATING YOUR OPPONENT ONCE you're not happy if it's going to be an even fight and your previous victory was flushed down the toilet. Saying it's tiring is ridiculous, what do you think about a tournament where the only disadvantage for losing is that you're forced to go for a 10 minute jog? (They should do this, screw losers bracket)

A spot they deserved anyway... but at 0:0 against a team they beat? The have essentially no advantage to show for going undefeated all the way.

A bo3 and a bo5 are totally different beasts imo. Winning a bo3 should not = advantage in bo5

I'm not sure why are you going on such a long rant in the LR thread. Make separate post if you feel so strongly about it. People would like to watch games now.
