When you go to the loser's bracket, it's not a punishment, it's "oh my god I'm so happy I have another chance and I'm not dead right away". When you go into the finals after BEATING YOUR OPPONENT ONCE you're not happy if it's going to be an even fight and your previous victory was flushed down the toilet. Saying it's tiring is ridiculous, what do you think about a tournament where the only disadvantage for losing is that you're forced to go for a 10 minute jog? (They should do this, screw losers bracket) The opposite actually... i've dropped into loser brackets and gone to the finals (i lost =[)

Winning a bo3 should not = advantage in bo5 Don't ignore the fact that they LOST A SET and in a single elimination tournament would be COMPLETELY ELIMINATED.

They are not rewarded for staying unbeaten, that's the point. In theory iG would reach the finals too, but hey, they've used up their second chance while LGD wasn't allowed this privilege. I agree too that the winner from the LB ought to win 2 bo3's. It's not like that hasn't happened before anyway, even though Valve would probably need to set aside a day just for that.
