Standin definitely looked like it bothered Na'Vi that series. Game 1, Miracle got picked off again and again. Game 2, Kuro was forced onto carry instead of his usual rubick.

ok at ems one NaVi looked like best western team along with Alliance, and right after it they just returned to their previous slump, just seems this guys are much concentrated and much more better under pressure at live lan events.
At EMS One Na'Vi only played Fnatic/Mouz/Rox.Kis.

You can't be judged as looking like the best western team by only playing those opponents.

Dunno why they even picked Pudge on a US host.

they have so many disables it doesn't matter.

pudge doesn't have to initiate with hook.

Actually it does, because you dont pick Pudge just so he can walk up to someone and use dismember. Sure that is a very good option for late game if he has bkb, but getting a Pudge just for that is rather silly imo, you want him for the early game power he offers and that he can snowball out of control. Instead of Pudge they could have picked Bane, long range disable that does the same as dismember and its easier to play on a ping disadvantage.

I was more referring to the fact that it's incredibly easy to hook a disabled target.

Pathetic play from Navi.

Btw what the fuck is wrong with the Dota2 scene? Seems like no team can field their full line up and keep depending on standin. Fucking disgrace to esports is what it is

Dota isn't really big enough for most playes to make a full living from it, hence they often have other obligations outside the game to fulfill. With the number of tournaments we have it's not really a surprise that you see standins every now and then.

Also please calm your hormones

Lol, i'm pretty sure XBOCT has no obligations considering Na'Vi finished first at Ti3 and second at Ti2

dude, spoilers.

Not surprised Na'Vi lost with a stand-in. I wonder where Havost is. Oh well.

Well, that kind of renders my argument null and void. Well played!

In that case, yes I agree.

Despite all problems Na'Vi just got outplayed heavily and the result would of been the same with full lineup most likely. Really hope Fear irons out the throws and finish high in TI3.

BTW it amazes me how both of these teams seem fully content to give their opponent a draft they are 100% comfortable with. Outside of Loda sometimes playing a 'weird' carry hero, both these teams have such stale drafts IMO. Not the most fun teams to watch.

missed the drafting phase but feel like s4 is outplayed on the metagame (not really outdrafted because nth line up is fine, bet s4 got what he wants). should be a good learning experience to s4.
