Sad for Fnatic as they can do better, especially Trixi who will get flak (haha) just because of that one game.

Best item choices he could've made, its always a strong TC's part. Butter useless against Hex, which n0tail had pretty early and they needed damage, so Daedalus was obvious as the most cost-efficient damage item in the game. AC against Desolator of Furion and AC of Sven, and overall boosting your team's armor, as all Fnatic had - was physical damage, coming from Sven and Furion. Satanic obvious to sustain in fights and heal up after Hex.

I applause TC's item choices.

Bumblebee did mention about bootcamping in las vegas(?) yesterday. Can't remember if it was for TI3 though.

In Las Vegas ? They'll bootcamp the kamasutra and a scarface remake instead imo.

Congrats Liquid, the true Kings of the Lower Brackets!

Finally their first LAN as Liquid, will be a good experience before TI3. Time for another bootcamp in China?

I hope everyone has their passports ready and there will be no visa issues.

The bootcamp location in Las Vegas ("Mig's House") for TI3 can be seen in this video (the SC2 squad went there for IPL5):

If you're using the argument that Evasion is disabled by Hex against Butterfly, bear in mind that Hex also disables all auras.

True but during hex, he's the one being focused and his team is taking next to no physical damage - so the +10 armor from the cuirass is helpful here. He also had +5 and substantial HP from the Satanic. It was really the best way for him to tank up, and the damage output is (sort of) similar to butterfly anyway.

It disables anything based on a hero ability in WC3, so it disables all auras except for Feral Impulse (since Feral Impulse uses a dummy unit to provide the aura).

If you're using the argument that Evasion is disabled by Hex against Butterfly, bear in mind that Hex also disables all auras.

Auras have a fade time and will vanish after 2-4 seconds if their carrier is hexed.

Considering Hex itself lasts for 3.5s, at least half of the time aura will work, and also +10 armor from AC and +5 from Satanic helps to tank better, than +6 from Butter and disabled evasion.

Edit: Fnatic were playing on +/- armor and Liquid responded accordingly. Smartest item choices TC could've made, i was impressed.

@renfree: why was daedalus better than a mkb? was it just to kill sven or np instead of flak cannon the whole team?
