Dendi kills DD after a little chase. 25:00 to 30:00 - Big dive from hvost kills the DK and pops a BKB charge from Luna, Xiao8 still pushing away where he can - DD utilising the stolen windwalk finds Dendi, big lift and impale from DDC but a BKB pop and blink to the trees allows Dendi to get away safely - Dendi just picked up his scythe (@29mins), Xiao8 still a ways off with only an ultimate orb. - Navi looking to push the bottom lane, Puppey with a smoke could lead to something sneaky 30:00 to 35:00 - While Navi pressure the bottom T2 (and do take it) Xiao8 is looking to take the Radiant mid T2, but is unable to do so - LGD coming in with a big smoke gank, Kuroky and Hvost fall, while Navi only finds DDC on the Nyx Assasin - Navi beiginning on Roshan but they decide to back off. - Xiao8 finds his Scythe of Vyse, LGD wandering near Roshan as 5 - Xiao8 ends up being caught out while split pushing and Puppey burrowing in to stop him from TP'ing away as Dendi's hex was popped early 35:00 to 40:00 - Navi taking a free Roshan, Aegis to Hvost - They begin pushing the Dire T3 mid but fall back, likely looking for a pick off or two first - Score at 17:12 in Navi's favor (@37). - Make that 17:13 as LGD make a smart gank using Nyx to scout and impale. - Navi do however take top T2, LGD out of outer-towers - Hvost with a very good amount of farm, 334 @ 39mins, Satanic incoming. - Dendi finds Yao and DD, the rest of Navi chase. - Hvost loses Aegis but a huge Epicentre from Puppey results in a teamwipe for LGD, Luna buyback - Navi take top Rax as LGD respawn 40:00 - 45:00 - DD finds Puppey and lifts him back, takes Burrow. just realize that there is no meaningful competition on this planet, not a single one, that uses double elimination. there is a reason for that, it is a stupid format that should have no place. it's a fucking tournament, you lose your out. if you want to run a format with maximal fairness and the chance for people to lose, then play a fucking league or extended group stage. in a knockout-phase losing has no place, double elimination has no place and until esports learns this it will never grow into the mainstream. at least sc2 is now after 2 years pretty much free of double elimination, with exception of the last MLG that was most definitely worse than MLG dallas which run single elim... Of course some real sports use double elim/loosers bracket. I have seen it in judo on olympics, the main difference is loosers bracket ends at bronze medal fight, there is no LB winner vs WB looser match or follow up "grand final" fight, there is WB final for gold/silver and LB final for bronze/4th and thats it, probably the fairest double elim. | ||
