I feel so sorry for TongFu, they clearly were the better team over NaVi, and on top of that I lost 70 euros betting on TongFu only to get robbed by fucking fountain hooking bastards. Consider me mad.

i wouldn't say they were the clearly better team, they looked evenly matched throughout the series. i would love to see a rematch between them

This whole fountain hooking thing is quite funny, I don't think it should be fixed because there's slightly more that went into that game than just the hooks winning it, that and the planets aligned for every comeback avenue possible to be taken by Na'vi successfully. The Gyro Aegis was the big one but I put that back on Hao for trying to steamroll through the enemy jungle blindly while they've seen what can happen. That wasn't a move that turned a won game into a lost one though
But aren't these bugs the things that make games what they are? There were bugged things in BW that became staples of the game.
Also the fact its the biggest crowd pleaser you'll ever see
The only thing I'm disappointed about it, is for the next few days every pub I play will be filled with some silly 2 stack thinking they're dendi and puppey missing every fountain hook they ever throw.

Puppet disagrees with you.

Do they upload the vids to YouTube or are there only twitch vods?

I feel like Maelk, it was funny and amazing that they could make a comeback from this, but seems so wrong.
I mean, what are you supposed to do? If you can fountain hook, why you can't forcestaff+hook like in dota 1? Why you can't use blink dagger in pudge/venge? These are mechanics that require skills but aren't totally not fun for a competitive game. Remember when you could blink with Lasso. Why would you removes that and not fountain hook?
Tongfu didn't play their best, but isn't a signal that the combo isn't overpower. Imagine trying to push highground against it.

TongFu knew it was coming and instead of pressuring to stop it, they fell back and allowed NaVi to let them set it up more and more. It was really a mental mistake on TongFu's part, as it was NaVi's only way to get back into the game. I heard that Loda told a chinese interviewer about dendi fountain hooks ”This is the most imbalanced thing I ever seen in dota2. It's fucking stupid. It's fucking ridiculous.“ Sounds to me like he already fears to travel for free with the dendi express. Incoming respect ban in the WB finals. Loda is very quick to call things the most imbalanced thing in the world. Like when he called PL the most imbalanced thing in the world and PL proceeded to fade into a situational pick.

the na'vi 3rd game is unbelievable

Yeah that would be awesome, wonder if tong fu will ban out the pudge..or maybe just the chen the next time, and what sort of state of mind they would be in. Would make for a really good match.

I agree with you.
If it gets fixed, we know who to blame

Complaining about fountain hook is kinda similar to armlet. Nobody really use it except 1 player/1 team until everybody abuses it until it is fix.
But of course, how many teams actually run pudge/chen atm?
Not to mention, the combo is actually pretty damn hard to hit but for Dendi to hit most of it, that deserved praise too.

Why aren't these haters crying when fountain hook was used before? EG had one game where they really tried to make that work, and it resulted in their own demise.
Really what the haters are highlighting with all their whinging, is how innovative Navi has been, discovering this high risk, high skill, exciting (source: the crowd at TI3) new combo that people have always known about, but didn't know how to get right. Also remember, Tongfu, for the longest time, had 3 heroes in the top 4 most farmed heroes list. Even if they fought 4v4, even if one of their carries got hooked back (they have 2 cores remember, doom was leading the farm early on), they still have a great chance if they just kept calm and pressed their massive advantage.
If a bug is really easily abusable and unfair, it would not be left in the game for this long (2 years). If a bug is really abusable situationally, then kudos to the first guy to discover this innovative new strat.

It's done in a fucking high stakes game, that's the problem.
