I should also note that 2009 is an incredible Puppey fan because he left a deep impression during the time 2009 subbed for Ks.Int. Playing and learning DotA from Puppey during that time was a very formative experience for him.

That's why they are the crowd favourites. It's like someone puts on a SC2 tournament, sees a 6 pool, sees it win, and goes "OMG FIX 6 POOL SO BROKEN" That's not an exaggeration, that's precisely what's happening right now.

Bullshit like this has been happening for years in DotA. never on a stage this big in order to prove how strong the combo truly is i garuntee tongfu has learned their lesson. watch them ban or firstpick chen/pudge every game from now on i expect almost every game from now on will have chen or pudge bans from now on after seeing what power the fountain hooks have Dude just stop talking. People have known fountain hooks could do this for YEARS now. If it was overpowered as you state everyone would be doing it. Jesus, I don't go into professional tekken threads and start bashing player strategies because I don't know anything about the game or the scene. Why are you doing that here? Seriously. Na'Vi is the only team on the planet with the massive balls it takes to bet $1,400,000 on an iffy timing that takes two heroes to pull off and is countered by creeps. It's like someone winning an OSL with a worker rush after losing all their buildings but a depot.

You're all about gimicky bs, "OPA DENDI OPA XD!!" like this hook or freaking Ursa and meepo ugh. What a ton of crap, that was a disgusting game and Na'Vi should be ashamed. But nope, everyone stood and screamed and clapped at such a shameful display, there was no skill, no team play just fucking luck. I hope Alliance destroys these people tomorrow, I look forward to it. OH NO PEOPLE ARE PLAYING TO WIN IN A 1.4 MILLION DOLLAR FIRST PRIZE TOURNAMENT A BLOO BLOO BLOO :| It's not even about Na'Vi doing anything they can to win even if its completely retarded and turned me off from supporting them, it's the fact that people are celebrating this kind of BS. That "victory" was 100% luck, Na'Vi displayed NO skill in that match.

Here you TP back to your base, either misses out on a teamfight or your camping spot(if you were just trying to get a hook off). (your team could also wait to see if you hook actually hit and back off.

I think they could've actually pushed and exploited the times Pudge missed hooks and Xboct was off farming. They definitely had timing windows there, but it still sucks to see it. Tongfu was doing that exactly as planned. Get Aegis, push in rax and win before Alchemist is strong enough to 1v1 him. However, that all went down the shitter once Dendi hooked him into the fountain.

For those of you who don't know, in Dota 2, the hook travels based on where you cast it from and always pulls the hooked unit to Pudge no matter where he is. In WC3, it's the opposite--the hook's position is based on Pudge's position/facing, and it always pulls the hooked unit to where he casts it from. This means that Force Staff is a lot more interesting, because you can throw out a hook and then get forced to extend the range (which requires a lot of precision). This means fountain hooks are still possible if you have a hero that pulls Pudge out of the fountain (Wisp/KotL), but is again harder, and less likely to kill the target because Pudge will not be at the fountain waiting to disable you so the fountain can kill you.
