Anyway still think Alliance will win with some rat doto now. Ya this seems by far the best way to play vs Alliance. Eastern teams couldn't really afford to do this before they were so scared vs Wisp and LD but Navi showing they're not afraid

Navi didnt get a 1-0 lead last year....it was only for the first TI.

I don't see how anyone can say that Hvost was the reason why they won when KKY the last game was the one catching S4 twice in key moments. Kuroky probably made the clutch plays that won Na`Vi the game at the end but XBOCT definitely played well this game.
Kuroky makes things happen with so little, it's really amazing to watch.

finals stress might be getting to him. there's no big break for him to pull something out like dreamhack right? Yup. Akke is the most important guy on that team and he's not getting his heroes. Any of them. And they used to say that Admiralbulldog had the smallest heropool in Alliance.

Is Na'Vi truly the kings of DotA?

I think they thought Na'Vi would get Mirana so they took for itself. Also they have played it before.

She did very little another carry couldnt have done they were expecting him to Stay in his lane against Xboct and keep on harassing him.But that wisp relocate completely destroyed that lane and gave Alch free farm
Makes you wonder why they didnt expect that, they already knew whisp was going to be played

Is there a short youtube clip of that that i can watch inbetween drafts?
There are full VODs of it on youtube, but no clips as far as I can tell from my 15 seconds of searching.

Actually they might do something funky with KotL, since Alliance could pick KotL/PL in the second pick phase....

Loda's put on a utility farmer while bulldog gets all the attention; otherwise they end up spread too thin

So are there statistics on how many heros have been played in the prelims+main tournament? Interested to know. I know Mushi played like 19.

It's a team game. Xboct relies on his team. Seems like good play to me.
Xboct has played the best carry of the tournament probably.

While an upper bracket advantage may be fairer in for the teams, having a completely neutral start is a better spectacle for the fans, rather than having a huge amount of hype for what could be just two games. Valve also greatly increased the percentage of the prizepool that second place receives which sort of balances it out.

More like brain fart. In the biggest tournament of their lives let alone prize money.. you just don't draft that way in game 2. By no means. It made absolutely no sense.

True Kuroky made some sick plays, but Xboct didn't make any mistakes except to be caught out at the Rosh fight, and that was clearly a team decision to go into the pit.
