Mushi didn't do well that game either so. this is probably an unpopular opinion but most of DK's wins prepatch were almost all carried by mushi, burning didn't impress me all that much, so when mushi has a bad day DK suffers pretty hard.
thats true but it has also something to do with the role burning plays in dk these days. in his former team he was the guy who carried most of the time and his team had to work towards that BUT mushi and iceiceice are getting way more support than super and rotk got

Still 5-6 is quite different compared to 18-0. It's quite obvious that the patch hit them hard.

That Mirana pick was confusing to me. They could have picked another hero that would have given more damage, so why Mirana? Mirana works very well with Naga ult. True, I'm just giving a reason for the Mirana pick. I still think if they had some good fights early/midgame they could have won that game without going ultra late especially with such a farmed invoker. Mirana is a good pick for early/midgame and is obviously not the best lategame carry.

You can attribute their downfall to the shakeup that 6.79 brought, but I feel just from how they played LGD would have won that last game if we were still on 6.78, if you get what I mean

Burning is a great carry, and Mushi tends to give him heroes that doesn't allow him to heavily farm, prioritizing himself and icex3 first.
Like last game... Mirana? Hard carry? No one does that. Speed doesn't, Na'Vi doesn't. No one does, it's a terrible idea.

i didn't say they were 1-5 and i corrected myself about 10 seconds after i posted. it's not an exaggeration that their play have deteriorated significantly since the patch.

Invoker is a carry, similar in vein to a Shadow Fiend, he demands farm/levels and plateaus. I think DK's draft didn't expect for things to be so even in the midgame (due to Mushi misplays, stopping pressure on Spectre, Alch finding kills), if they had been in the lead they could have taken the game ~35min
EDIT: My point was that Mirana wasn't expected to be the "hard carry"

Well it's also the way DK played that last game. Mushi missed ganks, and when they were unable to get pick offs with that line-up, they just fell back to pure 5 manning. They got 1 great one off and were unable to do it again because Invoker was pretty much a 1 man show at that point and they couldn't save him when LGD completely and utterly focused him.
If it wasn't a Mirana, I believe DK had a better shot, instead Mirana didn't do anything. Mushi couldn't do anything, Naga was only stalling with song.
Iuno I'm beating that with a stick but I just hope DK finds the groove in the new patch.
