Anyway only time will tell, even if I'm not against the idea to have supports have a lot more impact. Its definitely not that. Dota has been over 4 major overhauls in the past (when icefrog stepped in, the blink dagger era, farming era and the push/rat era) and there was nothing but praise from the community. When i saw the changelog for this patch, I thought it would be stupid, but decided to reserve my opinion until after I see the changes in action, but after seeing the games from both the east and the west, I'm starting to think I was right with my initial thoughts. Not to mention, playing this patch is just fucking awful. you cannot compare that stuff. nowadays dota has a larger audience in the west AND it has alot of competitive matches the second a patch gets online

In this thread I read today's games were casted by LD and Godz, but the vods from BTS itself are not casted by them. wtf well lgd vs tf is

Na'vi Alliance in the 6.78 era was Awesome The Latest 6.79 game was pretty meh

I fail to see your point or how that negates mine.

anyways i would just give it some time and we will see what happens. one thing is sure thou...this version will stay with us for some time and i dont understand why playing it would be "fucking awful"....its quite enjoyable in my opinion

most of this hate is just bandwagoning complainers who were already dissatisfied with the patch. outside of mass necro books, which is an easy fix, the patch has been very good.

I've realized you can still buyback to use Midas because it gives reliable gold :D
Let's see if this trend will continue with another teams :/

I personally don't see anything wrong with getting Midas on heroes that aren't typical hard carries/Furion. What is wrong about wanting to get XP bonus? Isn't that what this patch encouraged, people get online early and fight early? Even LD's being annoying by saying "dota's rotten now that even bh and veno get midas" what is rotten about players finding the most efficiency in their games? The community asked for less split push, and one way or another, Icefrog delivered it. We reap what we sow.

Rising Stars getting a dose of how broken dual mid with Lich is.

I see, those are valid points, however I was alluding more to the fact that this patch encourages 5 man doto and push much earlier, it takes away the skill required from supports and offlaners because its much easier now with the extra gold and xp range. Its awful because in pubs supports are more encouraged to farm and wait for items instead of actually supporting. Pro level is different, they can utilize the gold for the benefit of the team, but pub supporting has become much worse than before.

Min 19 Midas on CM for QQQ.

so wait how the fuck did both teams draw last night?
and why do they do a best of 2 if they can tie why not a bo3

Because a bo2 is significantly easier to run on schedule than a bo3.

Not to suggest that they were the ones actually responsible for the strategy, but why don't Rattlesnake ever get mentioned for running Midas CM in competitive first lol. Sag did it literally the series before Misery did.

Midas Gaming not dead yet. T_T
As good a place as any to mention that RattleSnake just lost 0-2 to an amateur team (DoubleTwo) during the G-League qualifiers.
