Was this a full EG throw, less, or an EG throw to the next level beyond what was initially thought possible? it was more like EG having a lead early with the more aggressive early game lineup but failing to transition into the mid and late game. Fearshaker saved EG quite a few times to extend the game but in the end it was the same old, same old. Jeyo in stupid positions, chaotic team fights and Alliance just being better.

EG had a 3k gold lead at about 20-30 min into the game and Alliance turned it around. So not really a throw but twitch chat will tell you otherwise.

I think EG should have been favored lategame since Clockwerk and DK are pretty natural counters to Lifestealer, who was the solo carry for his team. I think Alliance just had better decision making and superior micro during the fights.

Alliance still have the best map-sense in dota right now.

Their single concern is to make sure Magnus isn't picked off, so he can counterinitiate with ulti. EG had to somehow find Magnus, hit him with hookshot, stun him through BKB using Abyssal, actually kill him off during the Abyssal stun (else he'll just ulti or skewer out).
