i don't know about you guys but i actually like naga gameplay.
It's 10x better than lancer gaming. And 5 times more exciting. It brings out the teams best play from both sides.
It's also not unbeatable especially with the rise of fast push lineups.

From warding to the really clutch plays. To be fair iceiceice and mushi are some of the best 1v1 lane players in the world. And burning is just burning. Thats why they are so dominant right now. Hard to find the weak spot in the team. they are just incredibly versatile TBH .. and they play the playstyle like they mastered it from mass global to facerush to push lineup to different kind of push lineup and they can even play turtle masters with burning being really good in turtle games. they can play all styles which fits on the current meta game which has like too many playstyles Yes DK play a wide variety of styles, all with great effectiveness. Now they are the only Chinese team that plays carry Naga. It's a wonder why other Chinese teams are so stubborn with their drafts. They still haven't learnt much from TI3. The SEA doto influence i guess. Yeah havent see LGD try something new or creative for a long long time. I don't think you can attribute DK's success to any one factor. It's a mix of player skill, familiarity, and determination that very few teams in either scene have. The determination part is what stands out the most... it seems like whenever DK needs to win, one of their players digs just a little bit deeper and wills them to win. Whether it's BurNIng like at SL playoffs, Mushi and LaNm in WPC finals, etc. they just refuse to lose when it matters. You can tell from interviews with BurNIng and LaNm just how badly they want to win a TI, and I really think they will (bold prediction, I know)

Other teams prioritize the alch if not i normally see weaver or gyro.

Yeah i prefer naga lycan meta as well. Just think back to those days of 70 minute games, KOTL PL vs Phrophet AM. No push/fight for min 30 minutes.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, LGD lacks a lot of talent compared with other established Chinese teams. This is why Xiao8 always drafted lineups that heavily focused on team fight, 5 manning, and general reliance on team execution to win games. Without him, LGD has yet to establish a style that can work for them (if one even exists). The most notable deficiency of LGD is in their support duo, who are noticeably less skilled than a MMY/Lanm, Chuan/Faith, or FY/Fenrir. Yao is their only player who has enough individual talent to stand out on any roster. This support duo skill discrepancy between top teams and near-top teams is common throughout both Eastern and Western Dota. It's usually hard to definitively point out which mid or carry is better between teams but the better support duos are quite easy to spot.

It's definitely better than Lancer gaming, because at least you can actually do cool stuff with carry Naga. You could set up wombo combos, which is fun to watch. What is not fun about Naga is when teams have no answer to the split push nonsense by her. It becomes so boring to watch, because you know the team will lose eventually, but Naga has to be 5-6 slotted before she can even attempt a T3 assault. The wait is irritating when the outcome is so obvious. I don't like Lycan as well, because all he does is just push towers + right clicks. I said many times, but the coolest thing you can do with Lycan is just body blocking with wolves, which is rarely performed. How fun is it to watch a Lycan game, when Lycan never ever manfights. I like watching Ember because SoF-Chains is a ganking playstyle. At least he is quite involved in teamfights/ganks. It's however a pain when you see Trixi or any other player stubbornly play a Guard build and then feeds and be useless with it. Then they start trying to play catch up with farm, but still becomes so irrelevant regardless.

I think DK were running a mass global strat a lot of times when they were using io+ anything. We're talking about Ti3 here not who popularized it. I would easily consider Wisp to have the biggest influence throughout that tournament. Before looking at Wisp's ban/pick/win percentile, know that I'm talking very specifically about certain teams that were confident in running it which was Alliance, Fnatic and maybe Na'Vi. Naga ironically was a counter to Wisp which led na'vi picking her as a support specifically for the hero.
