But Liquid already has 3 good mids. No reason to put Demon there.

Changing back for the qualifiers was needed since they didn't have time, perhaps with time and practice the new roles will be better. They clearly need something.
Or just saving strats for TI.

TC can play mid depending upon the hero. For example his kunkka mid is pretty good. Qoqjva is probably the best mid player on Liquid. Also, Bulba can play mid too. I think they are better than Demon playing mid.

Have they tried putting TC on a simple offlane yet
|
afaik TC wants to play a support and wanted to after TI3. Given their performance this year and the amount of time before TI I think they see this as a legit opportunity to make the switch and see if he can make it work. When they tried it before there wasn't really time to adjust. Still kinda looks like a square peg in a round hole though

WK support just doesn't work against offensive lineups. Rox Kis is very offensive. WK support is stronger than others if you have passive lanes and don't want to fight before support level 11.
Guess same thing applies as carry. :p

Probably the EG/Liquid TI3&TI4.

They're just testing some new roles out to see if its viable for TI4.
