By the time the scythe sound starts, the spell is already cast. It has no projectile so once that happens you're stunned. There's no delay for the spell effect as some people believe, it's just that the damage happens when the stun ends--the stun itself is instant.

Or is there really no difference between the two. i dont think anything in the game actually reduces magic resistance, everything just amps magic dmg. its kinda the same anyway. reducing 25% magic resistance wud be the same as amping 33% magic dmg in a mathematical sense.

Which works great on every hero except meepo and visage. In the case of meepo, for example, assuming no extra magic resistance a 33% amp results in (1*0.65*1.33)=~86.5% damage taken, or still 13.5% resistance so he only "lost" 21.5% resistance not 25%. but yeah there are only 2 exceptions.

Also, with cleave you will still hit invisible units, but I have the feeling techies' mines aren't affected by cleave (have to be killed individually). I could be wrong though, I usually don't walk up to techies' mines as ember and start rightclicking ![]()

I assumed they were structures Technically structures are also units--they're assigned the "townhall" type which gives them their corresponding properties. Remote Mines, Stasis Traps, and Land Mines have the "ward" type which gives them the properties of a ward. They're not structures. They also have the Marker ability which renders them unaffected by certain triggered effects.
