So for Jugg, a Daedalus would roll first (25% chance) then if it missed, his passive would roll. Since the lower multiplier crit ONLY ROLLS if the first one missed, it has a lower chance overall of proccing (since it only rolls 75% of the time in this case). For PA, obviously hers rolls first and then any item based one whenever the PA crit misses. (I guess you could say that they both always roll, but if they both proc only the higher multiplier one occurs. Its functionally the same outside of PRD concerns, which do exist).

Was it changed in Dota 1? or they just didn't make it exactly the same in dota 2? It seemed like a bug with Warcraft 3, so not sure if they actually want to carry it over.

Or under only a very rare circumstance: When getting 8 more agility increases your attack speed proportionally more than 8 damage would increase your average damage. It would happen when your damage is at least over 130(100% attackspeed base, 30% IAS from power treads) higher than your agility. So if your hero has 40 agility and only power treads, you would need to have 170 damage(at that point you get the same dps from str and agi). Only if you have even higher damage(and NO attack speed increase beside power treads) would it be better for dps to switch to agi. And because you begin with 100% attackspeed, then add other boni and your agility, it mostly happens when you buy a lot of damage items(like divine rapier) with few or no attackspeed items. Or you play Tiny and skill his ulti, because it both increases his damage a lot and slows his own attackspeed below 100%

Thank you for explaining dota to me when I just asked a very simple question I want to know the breakpoint when agi treads gives more dps to a str hero then str treads does. Sometimes information is superfluous. This time it made your answer harder to understand.

Generally i'd take the raw HP + dmg most of the time over the IAS + armor but w/e.

I think the difference is so small at that point that it is just better to think about what is going on in the game rather than tread swapping to agility.

It's a triggered untyped HP decrease. Reductions are applied on the incoming damage when the damage is first received because False Promise is a triggered heal and not damage prevention. False Promise applies the triggered heal for each damage instance taken, and stores the actual HP loss for each instance. It then reapplies each instance of HP loss individually at the end. If they would be lethal, the target is killed with a real instance of 100 million physical damage (standard for HP removal since HP removal itself isn't lethal and needs a "real" damage instance to kill the unit).
