I think in Dota 1 you could "dodge" that with aegis and maybe a few abilities, but I don't think there's a way in Dota 2.

Is it because the backstab is the unique attack modifier? Or, is it a bug? Did you have a diffusal blade? Backstab is not a unique attack modifier.

You should consider the mid hero's strength in relation with your lineup, but also with the opposing lineup. How will your mid hero fare against their mid? Remember that one of a mid hero's primary function is to set the tempo of the game to reflect the needs of your team. Whether it's a strong team fighter or ganker, your mid hero should be one that is able to exert influence in conjunction with your team's early/mid/late game strengths/weaknesses and goals. I don't draft a lot but these are some of the general questions that are pretty useful/important imo.

For example, if I have a lineup like Void/Lina/SD trilane, WR offlane, what type of heroes should go mid to compliment this? A big teamfight hero like Brewmaster or Magnus or someone more gank heavy like QoP? In this case I would say none of those 3. You have a big teamfight ult, some decent AoE, but only some fairly unreliable small disables. Your heroes have good follow-up/counter-initiate, but you're lacking a strong lead-off stun. You could use the big disables you mentioned for this, but those are unwieldy for ganks, because you're blowing 2 min+ CDs to catch one person--you'd rather have something smaller that you don't worry about using for a gank. You should look for a mid hero that has a reliable point-and-click disable, something that can be an initiating stun, or useful for small-scale ganks. Possible heroes: Nyx, Rubick, Lion, possibly Beastmaster (though Roar's CD is on the longer side).

I would suggest a Hero thats works well together with voids ulti. So no melees. Qop, Puck, Invoker, Tinker or (situational) Dp/Zeus are picks to consider. Since you somewhat lack Push i would favor Tinker as long as there is nothing that shuts him down too hard on the enemy side.

Things that can force a guaranteed engage. As it stands he either needs to blow the Void ult to initiate, hope for lucky LSAs/Shackleshots, or lead with an SD disruption and hope Lina doesn't get counter-stunned when she needs to follow up (if she's even there at all).

Since we are talking about gangs, sd + lina should be enough (along with void slow). In teamfights you want to use chrono anyway. My general assumption is: if there are enough people around to keep lina from following up, then there are enough people around to use chrono .

I see so many conflicting opinions on builds for him, I guess because he can do so many things. Personally I love perseverance, and that builds so naturally into linken's that I'm doing it most of the time. I'm not sure whether it's the most efficient first big item, though. Usually ring of basi > boots/wand > RoA > Perseverance > Linken's and then deso/daed/radiance A lot of people seem to skip boots on him altogether because of shikuchi, but I'm not sure I like that. He's so slow for the two seconds he's out of it. I tend to compromise and get boots, but skip treads if the game's going well since I get stats from Linken's anyway.

Unless you can name a source all we know is that entangle and lightning can't happen on same hit. So either way one of them will occur less. On another note people use armlet on bear as an alternative to maelstrom. Costs the same, gives defensive and offensive stats and won't drain hp if activated(so you have it activated all the time).

Recently I got Naga in a single draft and even though I played her like a carry I really liked the hero as I'm a big fan of speed/that type of skillset. I know you can play Naga as support but what would you build? I'm guessing arcanes for start (I did that as carry even though I should probably have gone aquila and threads instead) and mek at some point but what else? RoB so you and your laning partner can really spam your skills? Naked vit booster or a bracer for some more hp? Also is it a good idea to still get a quelling blade only a bit later? It should help you splitpush/farm jungle with your illusions and skills a lot faster and you probably want some farm.
