You can also buy the gloves in the side shop so you can use the active almost immediately upon purchase rather than requiring the courier to fly out with the recipe. Gives you a very small amount of extra gold :0

yeah, same line of thinking with starting PL with 2 RoP so you can complete RoB and Tranquil without having to use courier

Problem with 2 rop is you sacrifice regen or stats in your starting inventory.

Does storm pandas "dispel magic" remove pudge rot?

not that bad actually
2 RoP = 350 tanggo = 90 3 gg branch = 159
total 599
you are more prone to harrasment due to no stout but have a higher EHP due to +4 armour
and you can even skip PMS alltogether depending on how the laning phase went and go straight diffu after RoB+Tranquil+Wand

Remove? Rot is continuous effect... Think its more for casted buffs/ debuffs

Anyone heard anything about the mentor system they talked about a while ago?

I want to watch pro competitive replays in DotaTV to see how they lane. How do I find replays for high level matches, preferably competitive. I want to see mainly solo mid magnus, TA or bat.

If you want competitive games, buy ticket, look at all games to find games with those heroes.
If you want to watch them play those heroes in pubs, find names of pro players, look up their dotabuffs, filter by the heroes you are interested in, download replays and watch from their perspective.

Newbie question, from a newbie perspetive, but watching pro games and taking lessons, can that knowledge really be transfered to pubs or even with friends? Im pretty sure I am probably missing 90% of the why's behind their behaviour and decisions if I watch pro games. Also, if I do behave like that, I guess I have to assume to know my enemy, which behave very differently in pubs. Starcraft 2 games was easier to watch and learn from, and apply since you where alone (good execution however, and crisis management..).
My intution tells me I should just play, and adapt as I hopefully improves and are put against better players. I am afraid I will lose my curiosity if I watch pro games too much and just try to mimic.
PS: Thanks for the tip about finding the tournament games.

Best way to learn this is to watch streams of players that explain their decision making process. Prime examples that I can think of are Merlini and Aui_2000.
I also do this on my stream, so feel free to visit.

Next time you go watch Firebolt stream, ask him to play Skeleton King. All his viewers learnt about breaking metagames from that.

You can definately learn tons of stuff through replays, it just requires attention to detail and patience. Personally watching replays of certain pros helped me with my farming efficiency aswell as my laning. Don't get me wrong, you should play as much as possible, but don't be afraid to look at some replays of great players.

Watching Zhou play morph in TI2 in his perspective essentially made me learn how to play a carry hero properly (and its pretty much what I play exclusively when playing with friends now, mainly because I'm better than my friends at it ).

Edit: oops wrong tab
