You have 1 gold per 0.8 second, so default gpm should be 75. Hand of Midas give you 190 free gold per 100 sec, so it's 114 GPM free. Doom Bringer's Devour gives you free 150+ gold per 40 sec, so it's 225 GPM free.
=> Play doom, get a midas, don't die and you'll have 414 GPM ez trollolol.

Can someone verify this, it´s been while since I mathed around.
Effective HP = HP x (1 + .06 x A)
Bracer provides (HP + 19 x 6 ) x ( 1 + .06 x (A + 3 / 7) ) - HP x (1 + .06 x A)
= 114 x ( 1 + .06 x (A + 3 / 7) + .06 x 3 / 7 x HP
Chainmail provides HP x .06 x 5
(114 x ( 1 + .06 x (A + 3 / 7) + .06 x 3 / 7 x HP) / 525 vs .3 x HP / 550 114 + 114 x .06 x A + 114 x .06 x 3/7 + .06 x 3 / 7 x HP vs .3 x HP x 525 / 550 114 x ( 1 + .06 x (A + 3 / 7) ) vs (.3 x 525 / 550 - .06 x 3 / 7 ) x HP ( 114 x ( 1 + .06 x (A + 3 / 7) ) ) / ( .3 x 525 / 550 - .06 x 3 / 7 ) x HP (116.9 + 6.84 x A ) / .2606 vs HP 448.5 + 26.24 x A vs HP
Did you account for chainmail costing 25 more than a bracer?

Can someone verify this, it´s been while since I mathed around. I was asking because I was playing as a lion vs a clinkz and clinkz loved doing nothing more than to wait around to pick me off. I had like 605 hp and 2 armor. Armor scales linearly but I forget the exact number that is used. Looked it up - 0.06. Also bracers add 3/7 of a point of armor (generally negligible). So chainmail is hp * (4.58 * 0.06)
hp * .2748 =
Bracer gives +6 str (19*6) = 114 hp.
so .2748x=114y
414.8
(I rounded a few times in this calculation). Ignoring the 3/7 it's just .3x=114y = 380.
Accounting for the 25 gold difference seems pretty negligible to me, although taking into account that chainmail is a 550 piece while bracer is 3 190 or less pieces is part of it. Does dota 2 still uses armor if it's a decimal? It doesn't display it though I know that it has to exist.
Thanks for the post above me, that math looks better than mine.

if you ignore gold costs hp*(1+0.06*(armor+5)) = (hp+19*6)*(1+0.06*(armor+3/7)) it's about 425 + 25*armor so if hp > 425 + 25*armor you're better off buying a chainmail (aka always)
but you're probably better off buying a gem or a million blue wards

You're better off focusing on positioning. If some invis hero can pick you off when you're alone you shouldn't be alone. Dust or sentries could be useful for killing said person, but the key to dealing with such heroes is not letting them pick people off and get fed.

You can get ranks of Geminate over Swarm for certain lanes, but Swarm is a vastly better teamfight skill. Neither takes priority over Shukuchi, because both your lane and teamfight play is determined on rotating Shukuchi cooldowns. "Straight up combat" isn't something Weaver does in such capacity that necessitates having Geminate ranks.

but you're probably better off buying a gem or a million blue wards Team fed 2 gems inside of 25 minutes and it was one of those annoying games where my team picked 4 carries and I picked a support so I wound up being unable to get farm for even boots until quite late. Was mostly just looking for a way to stop clinkz from running up and killing me under a tower and the curious thought crossed my mind as to which would be better when I had about 650 gold from a won teamfight. To do anything I either had to follow the person with the gem around which relied on him having good positioning (it was atrocious - see losing two gems inside of 25 minutes) or leave a trail of blue wards from the tower's range to the ward spots - which I had no way to afford. Trying to farm anything would get me killed and the jungle was mostly taken by the carries.
Like there's positioning sure but there's also you having a team that just stands and watches the clinkz kill you and then run off, multiple times. Including tower dives. He didn't start doing it until after his very early orchid or I would have been able to deal with it rather easily, just stun/hex and tp out.

If your team just lets clitz kill you over and over again then an item isn't going to help you either.

I'm not quite sure what the difference between pushing and counter pushing is. Other than pushing is offensive and counter pushing is defensive. I've heard caster say that "Edict is one best pushing abilities in the game" and "BT tinker is one of the best counter pushers in the game". What makes a hero good at one but not the other, what is desirable for pushing but not counter pushing and vice versa?"
EDIT: typo EDIT: I know what pushing and counter pushing are, broadly, killing creeps towers/defending towers

EDIT: typo EDIT: I know what pushing and counter pushing are, broadly, killing creeps towers/defending towers For your specific examples: - Edict is a strong pushing skill because it does massive damage to towers. It is a poor counter-pushing skill because it cannot be used effectively to clear a creep wave that is built up and attacking YOUR tower. - BT Tinker is a strong counter-pushing skill because he can clear built-up creep waves quickly from a distance, at a virtually constant rate regardless of how big that creep wave is. He is not necessarily a strong pusher, because while he can clear waves along the way to a tower, he has no exceptional ability to actually damage towers (no tower-damaging abilities or significantly notable autoattack damage).

The sad part is a significant amount of clinkz damage comes from searing arrows, which deal pure damage and are therefore unaffected by armor. Against orchids you should try to juke if at all possible. Doesn´t help against the "enemy team much better than my team" issue though.

This might be a dumb question but I couldn't figure it out by googling or looking in the controls menu. How do you Chat to all players during game? I can't figure out how to chat to more then just my own team. Years of gaming experience makes me feel intuitively that TAB should be the answer but nope. Thanks!

From Clinkz' Playdota page:
The damage is directly added to Clinkz' attack damage, as physical damage.

If this was post patch it may have been due to the "void isn't affected by any chrono" change.
Speaking of Void illusions not bashing, do they still fake bash? I keep forgetting to check.

Pretty sure all illusions fake bash if they have the skill/item required
