Another big weakness with her is that your team pretty much has to play around your ult for her to be good. An organized team who are all on the same page and will group up to push with you can do very well, but that can be very hard to achieve in random pubs when everyone is doing their own thing. You probably want to try and take charge of your team a bit and get them to fight around your ult if you play her. As for items you pretty much listed the "standard" build. Euls is about as core as it gets. Afterwards you need to build in your survivability and shiva and heart should be the go-to items. As for other items: - Drums I guess can be a good choice if you need to fight really early. Say you are pushing T2/highground at a very early stage and you dont have time to get a 4k-5k item it might be a good choice. - Atos is descent, allows you to chase down ppl with your ult up. Hard to say exactly when you should pick it up, maybe when you dont feel you want any other item? Descent against non BKB building melee enemies though. - Ghost shouldnt be forgetten either, especially if against heavy right clickers like jugg/troll which are common now. - Skadi is an option to replace shives/heart with too. More right click oriented and with some utility. - BKB always a solid option too. Eventueally as you fill up your inventory AC, Hex and Reresher as solid options too. But generally speaking you want Eul -> buff up your survivability with whatever tanky items you feel are needed -> fill up inventory with some utility items. | ||

u used to be able to just go phase euls drums 522 ms but since everybody that wants to hit you now has mom sny skadi it pretty well invalidates the "run fast" survivability plan. | ||

Curious if anyone else can suggest good counters to Omni/Jugg/Sniper/Axe/Slark. They're really prevalent in the meta and I feel like a couple of good counter picks/items can shut them down. Omni, Skadi, Shivas... anything else? Also, rat Dota  | ||

DP is favored against storm spirit or OD compositions. After laning you deathball with your team and exploit your enemy's weakness so if you think deathball is not favored currently, then DP is probably less strong drums is a waste of gold IMO, it's mostly the russians (and a few other weirdos) that get it. especially if another hero on your team is already building drums.. if you want to play standard, heart refresher + shivas or hex or something is part of your "6 god items" but depending on what kind of game you're playing, SNY or necrobook or something is perfectly viable too if it fits your fancy | ||

My reasons for picking DP is pretty much not for the later ult spam but rather the synergy between high ms+euls+ low cd nuke + low cd silence .. i'm trying to abuse the fact that the hero pretty much kites and fucks up anything that does not have bkb when euls is purchased. I think the hero is super good midgame like silence and nuke are super good as long as you time it. But i'm still having problems about it (i'm not mu ;_; ) | ||
