I can't quite watch dota 2 the same knowing these guys don't exist. Dota is going to be soo one sided now that a dominant team such as TL doesn't exist. I don't think they said the players are separating from each other, just the organization.

I think, and I can't remember if Kuro said this in the video or not so not gonna make claims, it's about legacy more than anything. One person I know in the scene, who frequently hangs around investors and other very rich people, said that the one thing they care about is their legacy and reputation. Money has almost lost meaning to these people. Not saying Kuro is there but I honestly think this is all about legacy. Because that's not something that Liquid can really offer. Liquid is Victor and Steve's child. They can't help Kuro build a legacy beyond Dota 2. What I AM worried about is how the team will do with sponsorship, sales, merch, social media, and media commitments. They haven't always been the easiest team to work with, which is a shame cause they're all really good people and I think that if they opened up to content a lot of people would see that. Hopefully they'll be more invested now when they have to run their own org. I'm still gonna be rooting for them... well when they don't play us!

Before my next statement I'll go ahead and say that even though I work for Liquid I don't know numbers. I don't know the cut the org takes or what the players earned per month, I don't ask and they probably wouldn't tell me even if I did. But the impression I get is that Liquid doesn't take a big cut. When you talk about Business in two of your three interviews it is always about money. And if it is about money, its bad for the game, its bad for the fans. It really is. If you talk about Fun, passion and family thats how you build your legacy, and thats how you win Tournaments whenever you want, if you don't believe me check last two TIs. I love the boys, but now i need some days to think...
