it's clear to me that miracle is in a slump, though he's a better overall player than the majority as he is right now.
i think once liquid gets to a stable level of play it'll be a lot clearer what the team is lacking. i'd actually be really interested in looking at the games where they pick the same heroes and comparing the performance between those games, but even those picks (and who plays on which hero) is sporadic.

This week will be good for team liquid. 25th and 26 it's dreamhack, if liquid win it they will start this new roster with the right foot, GH just got 9k as well so we have 3 9ks, hope they start to play well together, have more synergy and better games. I still want too see matumba and miracle get along.

Is GH really with the team?

Yeah, Matu said it will "most likely be Liquid.GH"

27 k mmr team holy shit! Well in all seriousnes, i hope they do better from now on, depends if they were able to fully remove the bulba curse.

I don't think he's slumping at all. He's continuously staying at 9k (while playing games daily), just like Matumba. It's obviously a team issue.

Yeah he did just fine on his heroes And you can't really blame him much for bat/nyx/mag play as he doesn't exactly have loads of competitive experience on those

Only because he played a shit ton of heroes in og doesnt mean he is god tier on everyone of those. Thats just not possible. Also heroes like magnus or bat only work when the teamwork is good, and they obviously had problems with that.

Its almost like mmr is not a great measure of skill at the pro level.

Werent you one of those hardcore bulba defenders? Liquid bulba is done, please move one. He is a coach now, which is obviously better for him
|
I'm not saying anything about bulba, I'm just saying that I don't think throwing more mmr at the problem will fix it. (Even more so since the problem is Kuro Miracle and MC anyways)
|
You said the exact same thing in this thread after bulba left the team so i thought you were still going at it.

They are allowed to have some nailbiters, but they have to win. After all this is the only LAN left to play in.

Especially with GH's first time on high level team the boys really should be treated like a work in progress project, much like Alliance. So if they win it'd be a nice bonus, but there's no such thing as obligation - with Bulba gone the team's pretty inexperienced with tons of potential if you think about it besides Kuro. Miracle and Matu have tons to learn about adapting their role with another greedy 1/2 and expand their hero pools ,GH how to balance his aggression, MC still find his way without Jerax and the whole team how to play together really. Last season they were dominant with one dimensional style (that got figured out by the time TI rolled over) as long as they are working hard and Improving I'm happy and so should Liquid fans. Results are not very important until next Major.

Their big problem are still the farm patterns of Matu & Miracle. Like i always remeber this one game where matu is farming ancients and suddendly miracle pings him like mad, because he wants to farm it.
If these two can work together i think liquid can be of the top teams again.

We will see them play again in 3 days, finally some games. Hard time to be a fan for sure. Hope the boys have fixed some of their problems. I dont want to see them lose in the few tournament games we get from them. Because after this they dont play in anything right?
|
Cant wait for them to start playing games again. This past few days after summit with not much going on is boring...

You should let the people at EG, OG, Liquid, IG etc. in on your little secret. They seem clueless.
