Exactly. That's so stupid. "My friend told me to hit that girl so I did it. It's not my fault." RTZ and Universe aren't responsible for what EE and Puppey (I'll exclude PLD because I can't really imagine him being a serious part of the decision) did to Misery and w33 at all.
Too many cooks in the kitchen. Well thats gg. Now the question its how many will leave.
Keep Puppey, Pie, EE, and Artour, then find a new offlane?
The old Misery+w33 Secret were a successful iteration, and while w33 was a play-making mid, EE sacrificed a lot of early game farm to prioritize it on Mistery, which makes me feel the EE+RTZ 1/2 position can work.

Rofl i'm sure Bulba was not the problem with this team

Envy was DOGSHIT this TI. DOGSHIT.
I know you are a part of Bulba's harem, but seriously, Bulba had 0 impact in any game this tournament. Offlaners are pretty much the major setup for team fights and space creators in early midgame, but in every match it was basically Artour/Envy running in while Bulba played like a fucking pussy and did 0 space creation or initiation. His Nyx Assassin was basically the worst I have ever seen in professional play.

I've been cheering for EE since his Kaipi days. Hes a great player but his mental game is too weak. It's his fatal flaw. He can't perform consistently in high stake games and tilts way too easily.
I can't keep cheering for his teams anymore. Sure, he won Shanghai. But last place at TI? Come on.

Get rid of Bulba + EE IMO
Probably. Bulba and EE have both consistently shown they have mentality problems
But similarly Puppey played godawful this tournament too, not sure what went wrong with him

I don't actually mind, IMO I don't think EE + Puppey works or is beneficial for either of them. EE can pick up a team of 2nd string players and still build an invite worthy team that places high in atleast a few tournaments. The way I see it, he wont be a winner due to his weak mentality, but he will always be a contender due to his work ethic. I can't say the same for Bulba though.

Was there a version of Secret that failed harder than this?
The Universe edition yeah.
Ah it was so short lived I totally forgot it existed.
Like I've probably mentioned it before (in this very thread if I'm not mistaken), the EE + Rtz combo will never work. No team in their right mind would let both of them have enough time and space to afk farm without serious consequences. Rtz's strength lies within his ability to farm like a machine and achieve crucial items at key timings to deliver the knock out blows. His peak with Secret prior to TI5 was the clear example. But for that to work you need players that could make space. Zai, Kuro and s4 to a certain extent were the perfect match (yea yea Kuro was left, Artour was right but it did work). That's why they were so successful back then.
Now you have EE which is pretty much a half-assed version of Artour in playstyle. So yea unless a creep gave 150 gold per last hit, it would never work.
On another note, sure Puppey's drafts have been pretty subpar but if you look back at all the success in the past, teams that dominated didn't rely on outdrafting their opponents every time, but more on setting a standard approach to every game, and excelling at it. I think they're trying to do the same thing now, but the problem is that their combination of skillsets just don't allow them to achieve that.
Either they get rid of Rtz or EE, or find another combination of offlaner + support that can create amazing space for the two greedy cores.
