It's somewhat notable that Newbee is the only one of the major Chinese teams that haven't been to a foreign LAN in the past few months. I feel like it's showing, given how lost Newbee looks drafting and playing against the major Western teams. VG, DK, and iG have all very recently played Western teams overseas and comparatively look much more well-adapted to how they're playing.

you dont have to be at foreign lan to learn the playstyle of other teams. most western teams played 1-2 times in chinese lans they dont have a problem.

they probably just didnt study enough replays.

On the bright side, the worst is over--Newbee had 2 5-game days in the first 2 days (which seems kind of unfair when there are teams that got 2 4-game days, but whatever)--so they only have 5 matches in the last 2 days, one of which is vs. Arrow. Hopefully this means we can see a better Newbee when they've got less matches to worry about per day.

hopefully NAR, Empire, Arrow are relatively easy wins. then there's DK and Na`Vi, who they can beat, and they only play one of each of those each day.

man it's been a frustrating two days.

Valve is very unprofessional & unfair in preparing the group match

Obviously teams that need to play 10 matches, are in disadvantage over teams who only play 8.

I don't even like Newbee, but this fighting is understandable if it is true. They are all well-established names representing a new brand, the pressure must be enormous especially with their success in China.
