I think I understand perfectly now Duck. Referring to white people as white skinned pigs is not racist, while writing qingchong is. What an unbiased take on the matter.

Need I remind you what actually was racist was Kuku's statement and no one seemed offended by that. The majority even sided with him and tried to press Valve. Stop reaching.
Kuku was fined, exposed to death threats and banned from competition and the statement qingchong is in no way shape or form directly racist (it is stupid and culturally insensitive as well as warranting action being taken). Referring to white people as white skinned pigs which is the translation of what Maybe wrote is 100% racist. I speak and read mandarin and simply because a racist statement is made in mandarin, does not make it acceptable. It is a hell of a lot worse than what KuKu said and it's even stupider considering their two main sponsors are run by what he refers to as 'White Skinned Pigs'.

That's offensive speech but it's not racist. I don't want to get into the semantics of racism but you can't be racist to white people. they were never in history oppressed, enslaved, or degraded not in comparison to ethnic minorities.
2nd you quote the translation but then further say you read mandarin, I highly doubt you speak mandarin.
3rd it is absolutely racist. Let's be real, when have the Chinese ever been spoken highly of? I have yet to witness anything favorable said about them in ANY public twitch chat, in any forum, and in any context. we're PC against any discrimination towards every other racial group and ethnic group, but there is an absolute bias in that towards the chinese, which is a double standard that needs to be removed.
4. Cultural Insensitivity is Racial in nature. It is Discriminatory in nature. just because the chinese don't speak up about it generally / ignore it does not make it acceptable.

I don't know how those work in China, but I expect that his monthly salary does not surpass 8k a month, and due to his income coming in big spurts, it's probably closer to 7k.
7k USD represents a month of his work. 30 days of hard work at the top of his field, gone. For a tweet.
meh?

It's actually pretty funny if you speak mandarin lol. It's not exactly racist if you include the context, but still offensive and inappropriate for a public figure.

just wow
i'm just wondering how you can casually refer to white people as 'fat white pigs' and not realise there's some underlying racism going on there. racism doesn't have to mean you bully the other race. you can just hate them, or fear them, or any other negative emotion for whatever reason. "fat white pigs" sounds like such a loaded statement, like, i call my chinese friend 'chink' all the time just to be obnoxious (he calls me worse), are you saying it's the same kind of thing (just saying it to be offensive for the sake of being offensive)?
also i'm white living in asian country and racism manifests itself in different ways, like people fearing you or avoiding you for a variety of reasons and in a variety of different ways
