Man, just played new PL for the first time. That hero is broke as fuck, no idea how anyone deals with it. Even traditional illusion clearing heroes like Sven/Tiny/Kunkka etc seem like they would have a really difficult time keeping the swell down, you just get such a huge number of copies so quickly.

Not particularly hard. Bloodseeker is insanity right now. I wanted to try some experimental shit last night, bought support items, our mag doesn't get in the game till after the creeps spawn so I go mid instead with support items. Proceeded to take a dump on mid and the game. That hero is a god damn joke currently. I'm not a great Bloodseeker mind either, I've played him 4 times ever in DotA 2, including that game.

It's cool he got a rework and has a spell that can make people run with rupture if they don't want to get silenced. But silence is the size of the screen and does great damage and bloodrage is absurd. God help the other team if they stack up.

The new Bloodseeker is fucking nuts. The only games I've lost is when my team feeds royally after I get a 9 kill lead. Mid, Lane, Jungle; doesn't matter how inefficient I am for the first 6 levels, I still wreck hard.

Patch buffed early game feeding and nerfed mid/late game feeding. Is that idea bad?

In pubs it could be nice, as your team can come back from a lost lane (i.e - feeder) but in Pro games it will change everything (bad or good its more subjective) , teams will probably opt for more greedier lineups as bad start wont be snowballed as easily for a win (it can still happen mind you).

but with the new updates toning down the comebacks you cannot longer get brutally behind early game and come back against competent teams .

Since the patch I have been playing more Wr. I love the hero (she is my fave) but it just feels better. Granted, the buff was not major or anything but the overall feel in terms of the games in general has been enjoyable. Once I have blink dagger, phase, and force staff, the fun really begins. It is a hero that can make plays.

As for Pl... Yeah, that hero is stupid now. On the plus side, it does make playing captains mode more appealing since it does not have that stupid hero (also Lycan speed boost is dumb as well).

Watched some friends play a game. They were up massively the entire game, 16k xp and gold, can't break base. Every attempt giving ungodly gold and xp to the other team till dire gets 25k xp and 30k gold ahead with harder carries and just crushes. The anger was palpable in mumble lol. The swings that occur while defending high ground are absurd now.

Seems like going as greedy as humanly possible while having at least some high ground defense abilities is the way to go. If you can hold to a reasonable degree you are going to get hugely rewarded even if you got your ass handed to you the rest of the game. I have a feeling Sylla is going to be a massive hero this patch, 12 slots, pretty good carry potential and he can completely destroy a base if he gets the chance. Also bloodstone seems like it might be the item of the patch, tankyness, lower respawn for defending, suicide so you don't give them money, seems like it might be amazing for this meta.

Pros haven't adapted to the patch yet. If greedier line-ups become more viable, then so will aggressive line-ups that punish greed. People have been saying supports that don't scale will be useless, but almost every hero has an aghs upgrade that allows them to scale late game.

I really see the change as benefiting support players at the casual level and punishing mistakes in the higher. If you get an advantage early game, you should be able to translate that advantage into more advantage unless mistakes are made + other team does something right.

I think sylla is awful this patch, 12 slots doesn't mean anything because even though everyone is rich if you look at how the gold is distributed its pretty much evenly throughout the team so everyone is rich on your team effectively and syllas gold to effective worth is quite low after 25-30 minutes. I think the game in pubs if these bounties stay are gonna be around characters that need 1or2 big items to be strong in holding highground/winning teamfights like witchdoctor and tidehunter (possibly even techies) with a hard carry like naga or spectre.

Spectre is the hero with the second highest winrate in 6.82 pubs. The first, third and fourth heroes with the highest winrate (omni, necro and wk) have spectre as their first or second best matchup. That's weird.

New PL is awesome. Really fun, but I don't think he's OP at all. He's never a huge problem when he's on the other team.

Even though earth spirit technically got buffed, the new rock range makes me so sad. He needed a ton of muscle-memory , and now I need to rewire my everything to stop rolling onto rocks that can't be placed anymore.

Spec's winrate is... really surprising. Like I can see how she would be well suited to the patch, but that well-suited?

i get bottle on a lot of heros now, the fact that you always get a rune for showing up is amazing. Easily my favorite change this patch.
After they reduced the gold bounty i have no problems with this patch so far. Sure void is still broken, bloodseeker is broken but it isn't even comparable to the cancer that 6.81 was.
