This is an exaggeration.. The gold swing has been a factor in only 1 comeback after my team fell behind in multiple games. In the reverse case only 3 games I could say the comeback mechanic benefited my enemies. The gold swing has a noticeable effect but there is still a huge advantage in map control that is gained by becoming ahead. I could even point to a recent game where my team was losing to the clearly superior laning team but we started to win when I decided to defensively ward around the map after we lost tier 2s and everyone was able to make more informed decisions with the increased vision the wards provided.

this qq about bonus gold is getting boring. might need tweaking yeah but overall its a good idea that
a) comebacks are more likely (without having to turtle hardcore 50 minutes)
b) mid/lategame mistakes get punished like early game mistakes get punished
and yes it changes alot about how some heroes function but honestly... evryone here shouldve seen countless of dota patches most of them hugely throwing over the game as we know it and changing evrything.
so chill and see how it evolves.

The change is absurd, any yes-man who insists its good for the game can go suck a lemon. It feels like im playing need for speed with a 20% speedboost to whoever is behind.

I know that some things may seem like extrem at first, but I want to wait at least a little while before I say something about it. Who knows, maybe someone discovers something that makes PL/KotL seem not so bad

Well I tried the soulring into mom medusa and then turned the soulring into bloodstone and that 60% mana shield works incredibly well now

Not to mention they've adjusted it twice in the last 24 hrs. They are clearly toning it back.

Some people were worried about games lasting 50-60 minutes on average but I have seen quite of few pro games as well as pub games that have mega creeps at 35 minutes in. Push strats are definitely still viable.

Since the new fix earlier the comeback effect has tones down imo. Early game now matters.

The new values does make more sense. I still like the fact that the idea of it punishes teams that throw bodies onto the high ground to trade for objectives. That really killed a lot of games for me in 6.81.

1 battle fury on ember is enough to wreck PL with a heart. Still can't get used to using the new BH toss. You can even toss at creep to hit heroes now

They halfed the networth comeback gold and reduced gold you get from killing heroes with killstreaks.

I'm annoyed more that the community's focus has been so heavy on the gold aspect, when IMO, the astronomical XP gains have seemed equally, if not more impactful.

I think a come back mechanic focused more on XP is a less intrusive way to assure more back and forth games.
And of course the community is going to focus on gold and not levels. The love the bling bling.
