The decision to punish FIRE for using the Puck bug was heavily debated, the topic went on for pages without any conclusion, and at some point one of the admins just randomly decided to punish them because a statement against bug abuse had to be made. It was a pretty interesting time and there was huge community interest in both the bug and the admin decision to punish FIRE for using it (as well as the method of punishing them which was to grant N9 the win and give FIRE a top seed in the next qualifier ![]() One of the most outspoken voices against the decision to punish FIRE was actually Maelk. He even went as far as pressing the community to complain to DRB's sponsors, which I thought was really childish. I still think that, but looking back I agree with him that FIRE shouldn't have been punished since using phaseshift autocast (which triggered the bug) was something that many players used. It wasn't the players fault that it's behaviour was bugged. Phaseshift clearly isn't supposed to let you move inside chronospheres, but there's no way Chen's sendback is supposed to enable you to hook enemies into your fountain either. I don't know what exactly happened with the item pooling incident so I won't comment on that. Answer spoilered for lack of relevance. + Show Spoiler + I'm not surprised at all that it was pretty heavily debated. I did the GosuGamers reporting on that story, and I remember there being a lot of he-said-she-said going on, to the point of an admin and FLUFF telling me exactly different stories about a regame. There's no question, though, that the team knew about the bug and used it to the fullest; the question really was punishing them without a clause in the rules to cite. DRB changed their ruleset after that, and the qualifier seeding was in part motivated by a desire to be fair to all parties. Regardless, it's clear that it was a bug, whereas one could argue that the various Pudge interactions are intended mechanics. I don't agree with that interpretation, but there are people who have it. The item pooling situation happened in SECS and helped push the needle towards a punishment for FIRE. Their supports bought tangos and gave them to Doom, who was able to sell them for full price. Pooling has been against the rules in every tournament since Boots+5 Circlet Sven was the standard starting build.

V1lat said on twitter the team's roster will be announced on Monday. Artstyle is apparently involved though, with how fast this has been happening, I'd like to assume Na'Vi's DotA 2 team isn't involved. Unless ZG wasn't able to talk to them in time and things broke down way too fast and someone left the team. Which doesn't seem likely because someone would have said something. ZG is very close to his players, he won't let his DotA 2 team fall apart so fast because Hvost and KKy are arguing.

At first Loda replied relatively fast then after v1lat replied to Loda's initial reply, Loda just ignored it. Maybe it's a troll because it's v1lat or not but meh. Just thought I'd put this here. Source He also says that Vanskor is signed with empire, and Vanskor replied "I don't know anything"
