blowyourbrain's leave date = 2013-09-01 Does this mean that there are only 3 people in Empire now? How could they participate in Bigpoint Battle?

They still finished 2nd of TI3, losing in game 5, and who could replace it ? Some said above that it's too late to replace it because teams have already recruited everyone, but even if Navi could choose anyone they'd want (which they can basically anyway), who would be better than Kuroky ? All that doesn't matter either way, if they're kicking someone it's because of personality issues. They didn't kick AA and LoH because they were bad (although they weren't in their prime), they did because they didn't have the same aspirations and motivation for that team anymore.

Having said that, according to information on Joindota, Blowyourbrain indeed played in yesterdays games along with an unknown stand-in. EDIT: Having seen a Russian VOD of one of the Big Point Battle games, Empire actually played with 2 stand-ins "frequency" and "Valar Morghulis" and Blow wasn't part of the team. No idea who these guys are.

Out of the 7 that they have to draw from with cty & zsmj, the five they are playing is the best team in the long run.

It might be, but in Na'Vi's case the Naga ban is certainly not to counter EGM's strong Naga play. It's to avoid what happened in the previous series where they were given Wisp and it got wrecked by Naga.Show nested quote + On September 02 2013 20:37 teapoted wrote: On September 02 2013 20:14 pdd wrote: I'm quite sure there won't be more changes to VG.On September 02 2013 20:07 vndestiny wrote: W8 so the full VG lineup is now what? Almost all of Na'Vi's bans in the finals were targeting these two, and it almost worked. People bring up this whole 'x player has the biggest impact on the team' constantly, and although sure, you can have an MVP of the game for doing something remarkable. It is as a general statement never really full of any substance, because you're comparing people with different roles. The example I brought up is purely to illustrate that the strength of a support is something that is felt much more by the team playing than it will be by spectators unless they're very observant. And in the case of a player like Kuro, is he supporting the team the way that they need/want him to? Only Na'Vi knows. It's not like looking at a carry player where numbers pretty much tell the story in regards to deaths/team-fight participation/farming.

You can see some more uebelst domination at the top of the hour when it starts up again. The vod should either be on Tobis or Versutas channels. I don't remember which of them streamed that game.
