And then they go and make money from playoffs. Seems hard to gauge how much they should be paid.

He was invited to play with Cloud 9’s Dota 2 team at a tournament held at South by Southwest Gaming Expo in Austin, Texas last month. With very little practice with the team, Cloud 9 and DeMoN fought their way into the Grand Finals against his former team Evil Geniuses. Haha I love how they referred to the tournament as "South by Southwest Gaming Expo" instead of using the official name of the tournament, "Monster Energy Invitational".

This thickens the plot considerably. I thought Liquid.Demon was a lock for sure (I think it's the best Liquid can hope for at this stage), but maybe he is hesitant to play support full time and looking for a better offer in the face of TI4 qualifiers.

You cannot really form a team 2 months before TI, and expect it to do something. To be sure, RedBull throws so much money into advertising, it could easily outbuy most teams' primary sponsors, if that isnt Monster or something like that, so yeah, they re probably testing the water i guess
