WoW is dying! Too softcore. Diablo is dying! RMT. SC2 is dying! No balance. SWToR is dying! Not enough end game content. D&D Neverwinter is dying (before the release)! No end game content! Darkfall Unholy Wars is dying! Too many changes. Runescape is dying! Too many changes. Any korean-style mmo is dying! Too many bots. HoN is dying! Too many s2 heroes with too many stuns. Dota 2 is dying! Bad matchmaking. CoD is dying! No skill shooter. CS is dying! No more 1.6 support. And I could go on like this about every online game most likely.

Which is stupid because they had videos showcasing it prior to the game even being released, and then cut it from the game completely. And it was the only reason I even bought the game more or less ![]() Yeah the arenas was what I bought the game for, I felt like I got scammed after we never got them. It was mean't to be something that would make me keep coming back to the game, now my Diablo 3 experience was beating Inferno with broken Wizard and uninstalling a long time ago. I know some people are into grinding the dungeons all over again but thats not me. Even if we get arenas now I won't have gear to compete unless if they give everyone equal equipment for PvP. Gave all my gold to friends and only had some basic equipment when I was done. They have to announce something pretty amazing if they want to pull people like me back in.

What you expect, people to pretend they love it? Except LoL ofc, which riot treats as a child, not a money-making machine.

I have spent more hours than I can count on D2, including laddering. This is why I cashed out as soon as the RMAH arrived.

Final result: 2 days 1 million sales ( I think that was na alone). I suspect the same will be the case for d3 exp aswell.

No dude, the WoL -> HotS was not like D3 -> d3 exp will be,fuck it , i didnt buy hots on day one,but i still bought it in the long term, however i don't think Diablo 3 exp will bring something as amazing as HotS is. Even you aren't gonna buy it,i was literally one month after release regretting that i bought that shit.I didn't even finish the game,i don't know if there is sometthing that can fire my interest in Diablo 3 aspect

It's so fucking pathetic. Especially after joining Reddit, and seeing the Reddit army boycott one thing after the other, but they always end up buying the game.

(Except LoL, it's hated more by everyone not playing it instead) Even at it's absolute worst, Diablo 2 was either about PvP or just making new characters and playing through the game. Grinding and farming was all an end to those means. Diablo 3's PvP was killed by late release (after the playerbase already died off) and by attempt to make it a "structured" thing. Making new characters is pointless since Normal to Hell is a completely linear walk and one character of each class is all you will ever need or want. Not to mention that all social aspects of the game were dead on arrival unless you have a dedicated group of friends. The end result is that the core of Diablo 3's gameplay is just farming for the sake of farming, with a drop rate that doesn't even make it enjoyable. You level up to get better odds of farming, you upgrade to farm fast, you farm keys to farm organs to gamble for rings that help you grind faster for better farming... There is literally nothing to do in D3 except farming in Inferno.

There is literally nothing to do in D3 except farming in Inferno. And how exactly is it different from Diablo 2, where there's nothing else to it than farming hell bosses/ubers? PvP was not much better than it is in d3, as both sucked (and for a good reason, it takes less skill and more overpriced items). Not being able to respec was the biggest flaw in diablo and that just increased the grind (which later was fixed and you could just level up 1 character of each class and respec as much as you want as well, maybe slightly less often), but besides that it was majority of the time just farming for items with your sorc or better yet enigma hammerdin. After you get all your items (which was way more boring than it is in d3, as you get more randomness than just teleporting until you get to a boss with never changing modifiers and worse drop rate than d3 and of course you need all the uniques, some random rares won't do unless it's amulet or rings) you spend couple hours planning out character build order and then go into bot games to get through all acts, then into few tristram/act2/cow run games to get levels for baal bot runs, and from there just mindlessly join bot games for xp. If you remember diablo 2 differently that's good for you, but you shouldn't really judge d3 by how diablo was 10 years ago, instead of what it evolved into. If diablo 2 wasn't inherently flawed, there wouldn't have been so much need for bots to take over battle.net. Every argument I've seen to date for d3 being worse than d2 looks at the latter through pink glasses and I've yet to see a good enough reason. I'm not biased for d3, I've got bored with it like with majority of the games, but I didn't have impossible to fulfill expectations for d3 in the first place.

Being all talk and no action is quite common for people in general. I for one didn't buy the hots expansion. In particular I changed the game I play. Popular multiplayer games are "pick your poison", you can't boycott an expansion without stopping to play that game entirely.
