Um i plan to finally stop casualy suiciding my deamon hunters and finally get to inferno. Could somebody advise me How much stats do i need to survive 2 hell belial explosion hits? Hes bane of my existence. Also if someone want to play i will add my tag this evening. | ||

Can't give up, would go against everything I say to everyone  Although last night I proc'd Spirit Vessel and right after I just spent about 1billion re-gearing. I got Crit by 2 Banelings in Keeps2 right by the entrance so popped up to K1 to get the waypoint quick but there was trash mobs by it that we didn't clear on our way to K2. I clicked town with about 500HP after Spirit Vessel already popped. 2 deaths in 1 week and 2.5billion gold gone in 1 week almost.... woulda been tough to pick myself up from that and keep playing. Thankfully avoided that! | ||

You only lose the character and everything they have equipped + in their inventory. In SC, you will basically ignore Vit but in HC you will want your primary stat + Vit to be roughly equal (or slightly less Vit). | ||

Welcome to HC, you won't go back to softcore once you switch There are some general tips in the OP of this thread that should give ya some small advice. | ||

Initial class imbalances regarding ability to farm A3 ruined the "fairness" of the economy from the start, creating haves and have nots depending strongly on class choice. It's still possible to find and sell items, but the stat requirements keep on with their steady upward march meaning that the chance of a valuable drop is becoming vanishingly small. And that's why HC has me hooked. It is certainly not flooded with cheap items, because people die, all the time. Between Chosen and Pokebunny alone there is probably ~2b of gear deleted from the game reported in this thread. When I get a leg drop in HC, I a little voice in my head goes YESSS, because there is a good chance it will be worth something. | ||

For reference, it took a couple hundred mil to get my DH to 92k DPS unbuffed, and maybe 100-150m to get my WD to 65k unbuffed. On the flip side, it's way easier to make gold once you're farming a3 mp0. | ||

I WAS interested in the Tempest Rush build but then found out you need a Skorn AND a class/ability specific SoJ so that's out of the picture, especially in HC. | ||

Normally I just play through the story in each difficulty on mp0, but that might be really slow for all I know. | ||

The new crafting recipes are a godsend. My scrubby 19k barb can't afford to craft any of it, but selling Tomes of Secrets at 20k+ apiece is my lifeblood. I would have quit if I had to "pray for something awesome" to get out of a1m0 farming, but the steady Tome income has put me 1 or 2 upgrades away from a legit push to a3. I'm not sure if that's exactly what Shottaz means by being a "bottom feeder", but to me it feels more like progression and less like a slot machine or charity. I don't know what it takes to claw your way to the top of the ladder, but any rung feels better when you know you got there by never dying. | ||
