That reduces profit to 500k.

This is my best one yet : ![]() I'm actually quite surprised someone paid so much for those boots because of the lack of movespeed and lack of primary stats for the two melee classes. Are monks just that hungry for those all resistance that they'll ditch the potential 200+ dex on boots just for resistances?

That reduces profit to 500k. I used the 50% crit gem, a trade off between not appearing cheap (45% gems are commonly dropped) and spending very little (20-30k). Anyone including a 70% gem is being a bit foolish I think. I doubt the majority of buyers take the time to do the calculation, and simply do a search for a crit % cut off. Those who think enough to check the gem price are probably also going to think enough to buy a socketed un-gemmed weapon. Also, we must all do our part by paying AH taxes to support public services such as cobblestone roads and teleporters. How else would we farm efficiently?

My thoughts too, it would not have occurred to me to buy that to flip, just because it doesn't look sellable at all without +str or +dex and obviously no movement speed..

Hm this is interesting, the chest I am currently wearing i bought for 50k and it has 196 vit, 50 dex, 4% life and 3 sockets, it could actually be worth quite a bit then.. (ilvl 61 tho, so rather low armor).

High vitality roll, almost max resist and an additional resist, good for a monk. I believe damage is really secondary for tanks. If it had 200+ dex as well it would be well in the 30M+. Move speed is great on boots, but it's not required for melee classes to have a high value item.

Tank WD and melee Wiz are quite popular nowadays. That might be another reason for the demand in this kind of items.
