I'm a Wizard with pretty good gear and I can run the bridge in about an hour and kill the fat beast in the end. Also you can abuse Tyrael in a way that if you die, he will keep killing the elites for you. Really handy for those reflect damage-shielding etc. types. Siege breaker run is by far the best farm for ranged characters atm in my opinion. This on EU.

The siegebreaker they were talking about was the Underbridge chest, which now only spawns like 25% of the time. The siegebreaker 5stack NV kills, with tyrael, are quite lucrative, but far more time consuming per run.

Had a 1050 dps barb 1h drop on my first run, but nothing else amazing since. Anyone else had much success with it? Also, what would you consider the drop level to be on par with? Act 3, maybe Act 4? I've done it a few days ago, we hit some rock wall elites though so we quit for the day. Should probably try it out again now with better gear. I'm not sure what level the drops are, I guess act 3ish, but pony level is definitely easier than act3-4

You are really forced into it until you have better gear, but butcher runs suck. Too many of the weapon drops are under lvl 60.

Basically the more good rolls and high dps items on the auction house the less of a chance you will roll a comparable item, at least thats what I think he meant.

I don't think that's what Bash meant, and the coding for that would be ridic. I think what he meant is that because they were rolling out an AH and a RMAH, they had to make drops of good items a LOT less likely than in D2.

D2 drops: - any base item of a TC less than or equal to the maximum, so you could get sashes from pindle, with - any affixes including the really low level ones that are completely worthless D3 drops: - base item seems to be always your difficulty or the difficulty below - I've never seen a normal item drop in hell+, or a normal or NM item drop in inferno - affix pool seems to be restricted - I've never seen the affixes I see in normal on hell+ gear Also weapon damage is so much easier to roll well on in D3, where elemental damage/physical damage/% increased damage are all viable, compared to D2 where you absolutely needed either cruel (blue) or ferocious + grandmaster (rare) for damage to not be utterly shit.

I figured out a run starting from right after you go through the Arreat Gate, which has a 50% success rate. I don't know if others figured it out because there are a few different configurations you have to know. Basically you go straight out, an you come to the configs One: Stairs This will have stairs going up and stairs going down to a multilevel dungeon. Go up the stair and there will be a gold chest sometimes. ![]() Two: Bridge This will have a little stone bridge leading to a single level dungeon behind a stout wooden door. Go into the dungeon to find the chest. The dungeon is small and ring shaped, you will learn the layouts. The chest is almost always visible from the center ring of the dungeon. ![]() Three: Trenches This will have a wierd destroyed staircase that you cant access, if you go further out you will see the trenches. There is nothing in this config so just remake. ![]() I did a bunch of these runs a few days ago and measured about a 50% chest find rate, but I havent tested it recently so it could have been nerfed. Dont know if its even a decent run but there you go.
