He logged out with buffs (~78k unbuffed). He's also sporting a lot more Crit Damage (250+ from gear) than you'd expect since he only has it on 2 pieces!

I'm sitting at 45k dps and can kill any pack in A3 (other than Azmo, ect) in under 30 seconds. Since you have waaaay more dps than me; I highly doubt it's worth running MP1 or 2.
I should note that I'm using WoL which just melts white groups. I mean if you're speed running a low MP level, do you really need Serenity? I don't miss it even on MP 5 (not going to lie, stuff does take forever to die on MP 5 for me).

with 1400 loh and 2.8% ls, i kill myself on any mobs with reflect if i run without serenity (110k unbuffed). i usually just replace blazing wrath with tempest rush 'cause i kill everything super fast without it anyways

At my dps level(~100k unbuffed farming), I farm MP0&1 at almost the exact same speed. My farm build uses bladestorm&MoC-submission using thunderclap just to travel, 1shot basically every mob on MP0&1 , and spawning 1-2 cyclones that float around after everything on screen died to AoE already doesn't help. Slightly slower on elites, but the difference between 4 hits and 5 hits isn't particularly significant.

I was kinda hoping on gear advice, I'm thinking of getting blackthorne's neck for the beefy LoH it provides, but that would net a 20k dps loss, Butchers Sickle is a great weapon in terms of what stats it gives, but the rolls are just too low so that's out too. The witching hour is nice ofc, but way out of my budget.
So, ideas? I want to increase dps while at least maintaining the tanky stats I have, if not increasing them.

As far as farming, I am sad that I have forced myself to drop some ias from my farming/dps gear to make Tempest Rush: Tailwind last longer. Bye-bye better looking Tal Rasha Chest; hello marriage-equality-act Inna's >_< But now that I look fabulous I have no qualms about using a fist that looks like a vibrator. (Az'Turr) It has all the stats I like, and fairly cheap too! (I am too poor for a socket)

Hm, really strange, friend of mine just asked me to help him with act2 keywarden on MP4 and i got destroyed on pretty much every stack... don´t know what happend, usually i don´t have any problems on MP4.
For the uber´s i just switch the gem for the helmet and use transcendence and it works just fine on MP4.

Skillset is fine. You just geared for farming stuff that you kill quick. For ubers you need some more loh so you can sustain the battle, just grab a defensive loh amu and you should be fine. Stuff dies too quick with overawe in parties anyways. Can also consider taking guiding light & exploding palm (1st rune) for more party dmg boost (74% with everything up, you don't even have to do damage really as monk in 4 ppl parties to still contribute more to the dmg output then other classes)

I gotta agree, you lack sustain if stuff doesn't die right away.
When you talk about no problems on MP4; do you mean when you solo? B/c partying adds *a lot* of hp to mobs. An easy way to get that would be swapping Fleet Footed for Transcendence. If you can keep up refreshing Overawe every 3 seconds, Transcendence equals over 1000 hp/second.

I usually solo at MP2-3, depending on mood, but i meant that i don´t have any problems with the uber´s or when getting the 5 stacks on MP4 in a 4 player party, i only swap out the Hellfire-ring, put in a life% gem and use transcendence. But on this last keyrun we were 3 and i got crushed with the above gear and skills. Is it just the difference between act 1 and 2?
Edit: what res and armor do you recommend?

I think you're gear is fine for MP4 or 5. Just toss on a LoH ring/amulet for bosses/ubers. You could have been getting unlucky with affixes - 100k+ is going to hurt against reflect damage.
Also, the A2 keywarden apparently can reflect missile attacks (something I never noticed as a Monk); so if you're in a party you can die to friendly fire and have no idea what happened (the missile dampening field makes it impossible to time your shots too). Other times I've taken huge amounts of burst damage from his spinning attack (never had time to mouse-over the debuff icon when he does that, maybe it's stacking damage?)
A1 and A2 should be the same on MP1+, so I don't think that's it either. Provided you learn to recognize the "kill abilities" like corpse clouds from Mummies, seeds from Trees, the ground effects from Poison and Blazing Guardians, ect.
Actually come to think of it, Shocking Guardians hit really, really hard when they're champions, but other than that, I haven't noticed any difference between A1 and A2.

That ring in the screenshot was the 4m ring, which is a steal for all the useful stats it gives. It's basically the "new" legacy Skull's Grasp before they "upgraded" it (read: made worse).

Yeah, was probably just unlucky. Just wanted to ask for some opinions regarding my gear level. I find it really hard to increase my dps while maintaining enough defense. How much value do you put in armor and res? I can´t go all glass canon, because we only have one tank besides my monk that can handle ubers on MP4. Haven´t really tried MP5 though, do i need massive upgrades to handle that? I really don´t wanna waste machines, because i´m incredible unlucky with key/organ drops....

Currently using this build to farm. Bought a cheap 1.7 spirit regen 6% crit inna's to go along with it. Point of this build is just to clean everything up with as much passive AoE as possible, using tempest rush/thunderclap to zoom around(no spirit spent on mantra spam). I can currently sprint about 2.5-3 screens from full spirit(passive+templar+1.7 from helm), which is usually enough. Once AH comes back up I'll look into getting a cheap SoJ.
Empowered shrines are a godsend though, because all of a sudden I can literally hold down the tempest rush button and never run oom.
Bad part about this build is it's pretty squishy. No serenity+gearing spirit really takes a toll on survivability, so it's limited to MP0/1 for me atm.

How do you have 20k more dps then me with 13% less crit chance? And WKL adds so much effective dps too, I feel cheated.

He logged out with buffs on. find him in diabloprogress or something for actual base DPS.
I could log out with 174k dps just with blind+wrath if I wanted to, with WKL that's ~200k, but that doesn't actually mean much.

Not that I know of, but it's probably somewhere between 75% and 90% in most scenarios.

Sort of, even though this says survivability model you can get you spirit generator's dps + sweeping wind dps + estimated cyclone dps (based on what scenario I have no idea):

Be sure to turn on Overawe and Blazing Wrath (if specced of course) to see how much your thunderclap 'base' dps is.
Then click on Faith in the Light to see how much your snap-shotted Sweeping Winds + Cyclones (I'm assuming Cyclones keep your snapshotted dps right?) do.
Basically in this scenario the only thing WKL doesn't buff is the sweeping wind dmg itself. So add those two numbers together (cyclone + primary dps) and multiply by WKL's bonus.
Actually, those are the only two abilities we have that can do lightning damage, so it doesn't matter how much dps any other skill you might be using does (we can get a lot of holy dmg skill so it's too bad we don't have anything to buff that!).
