Just remember, there is no point in buying the IK boots before the chest, since a 4-piece doesn't give anything additional. So get the IK chest first At that point the boots will most likely be cheaper due to the higher droprates.
I just got a barb to 60 and I'm looking to upgrade my gear. My first char was Monk and I tended to be way too tanky so I've sunk a lot of money/time into it trying to up my All-Res and survivability and it always felt like I was spinning my wheels. I've included my profile so you can take a look at what my time has gotten me, not very impressive. But now I'd like to play a Barb, because on my way to 60 I had way more fun playing then I ever had with my slow Monk. Barbs seem to have a much higher DPS potential and can farm faster with sprint.
So, I've got 25 mil and want to upgrade my Barb as much as possible, which shouldn't be hard.
Please let me know what I should change, I can also steal gear from my monk. The end goal is to do Act1-2 MP1 as quickly as possible since that's got the easiest lvl63 drops, so natural MF is also a plus.

EDIT: Ignore the passives on the monk, I was just screwing around.
I would decide which piece you want to have as your additional movement speed (in additon to boots) and look for that first.. Like Tyraels Might (chest), Lacuni's (bracer), Compass Rose (ring). Getting +25% movement speed really changes the way you play. Also... the AH prices will be pretty crazy for the next 2-3 weeks with the upgrade in loot drops.

From my experience yesterday, normal farming runs are definitely slowed down. If you're used to doing 10 minute Alkaiser runs there's basically no way you can match that speed because it's very difficult to keep up fury in areas without many mobs.
After tweaking some skills I was able to do keywardens/ubers on MP8-9, haven't tried 10 yet but I think it should be doable. I feel like I need to get more HP for higher MP though, with 56k hp my hp is getting spiked to 1/2 quite often, definitely a little scary.
MP6-7 seems inefficient, I'm farming MP3 with 200k (no WW) dps and I feel that I can't do much more with a reasonable speed. The main factor for me is the ability to one-shot white mobs with a crit, I doubt I'll be able to do it past MP4. Maybe Act I is viable, but after months of act III it seems absolutely empty (I still love it though).
Anyway, monster damage has been reduced A LOT. I'm safer at MP3 than I was pre-patch. The only thing than annoys me is War Cry, for some reason the 20 fury gained drop immediately to 19 so I'm not able to cast Sprint or BRage. Is anyone experiencing the same?

yes. but since i switched to animosity in my passives, this issue is gone.
hm what are the easiest way for me to increase my survivability, and what approximate stats should I aim for to be able to do ubers at mp 7+? budget is around 200m or so.
with my current stats, I can only go up to mp6 for ubers comfortably, doing mp7 requires many deaths as the increased damage taken becomes a lot more noticeable, especially with siegebreakers reflect damage. Im thinking replacing my helm with a mempo, are there other/better changes, dont think just changing that will be enough.
quick question, what's the formula to calculate a ww/sprint's true dps? is it as simple as plugging in your char sheet dps, and getting something back? halp hairy?!

I think your main concerns are hp and sustain. A band-aid would be to first try to resocket some things with vit, see if you can get to 50k+ hp because damage definitely won't be a problem for you.
I think if you're going to drop 5 piece IK, the 2 pieces to replace would be the boots first and then the helm. I would first replace the boots with iceclimbers with vit. You could probably gain ~200 stats from switching to ice climbers (not to mention the %hp) and I don't think 24% movespeed is necessary for ubers so you don't have to empty your bank to get 12% movespeed iceclimbers.

Here's a decent video guide on the WW spec
How's everyone doing on the ubers? I find carrying my stormshield in my inventory definitely helps, very useful in the skeleton king fight and I like popping it on if my WotB runs out.

it's harder for sure, you won't be able to just blitz through entire zones without it ever dropping off (all the more reason why the 24% run speed is important now), but against elites you should be able to keep it up except against the most annoying runner type mobs. and that's where you'll need it most (cc immunity)

With WOTB and using overpower's 10% rune I was at ~2.75 attack speed and 70% crit, but still not enough to reliably maintain WOTB :| It's fine through elite engagements, but I find it's impossible to prevent it wearing off travelling between packs etc.
I'm moving towards other builds now, as ww/sprint just isn't the same fun when you have to struggle for fury. When there are few enemies around sprint often doesn't even give you back it's fury cost.
hmm, what about that sprint/hota hybrid build that i suggested some pages ago? basically a hota build, but with sprint for faster movement.
in general though, i dont feel like ww/sprint build suffered a lot. yes, perma-wrath is not possible anymore, but lets be honest, permanent cc immunity was overpowered anyway. just save it for nasty elites, keeping it up through an elite fight isnt much of a problem.
overall, i think barbs got away quite fine with the patch. just ask the poor wizards if you want to know what "nerfing builds to death" really means.
