I just logged in Act 3 monster power zero. Champ pack right up the first flight of stairs. Drops this amulet. 168 STR 129 VIT +16% life (sixteen) 7.5% crit And then poison resist, and life on kill. That would just be about the best drop I've seen on a live, knocking the %life down to the max of 12% or whatever it is. (i still have french PTR client) ![]()

(horrible horrible debuffs in act4.)

I friend requested you, I'd be happy to show you what I have: Without Enchantress, With WarCry / Impunity Rune 33806 HP 7537 (71.53%) Armor 804-930 (72.84-75.26%) Resists 48396 --> 57697 (Battle Rage) DPS 857 life on hit (only on off-hand weapon) 52% crit chance w/ Battle Rage I'd be happy to discuss items to help you improve greatly. One big helper I can give is to tell you to focus on getting items with armor on them instead of all resists, the closer those two numbers are, the better your EHP will be per gold cost. I'll explain below: Lets say you have 68% dmg resist from armor and 78% from all resists. You would think that this would be roughly equal to the total damage resist from having 73% armor and 73% all resists, and it is. If an enemy does 100000 dmg, then after the first resist example you would take 100000 * (1.00-0.68) * (1.00-0.78) = 7040 dmg If an enemy does 100000 dmg, then after the second resist example you would take 100000 * (1.00-0.73) * (1.00-0.73) = 7290 dmg. The catch is that it is MUCH cheaper to get items with +50-60 resist all and a little extra armor than to get +70-80 resist items with low armor. Considering how high your resists are I would primarily suggest actually lowering your resists in trade for items with better strength (armor too), crit, attack speed, and crit damage. Andariel's Visage with a low bonus fire damage taken modifier (5-10%) is a personal favorite of mine :D. They aren't crazy expensive, they give massive damage and can give armor too. Just as long as you can go without a socket for xp gem / life gem.

I feel like you have a misunderstanding of how to play the build. There's no way you can just face tank a pack of elite phase beasts, you need to always have WotB up and you need to keep moving so your tornadoes can fuel you with hp/fury.

http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/m00nchile-2990/hero/20383749. I know I should up my crit and critdmg, but that's expensive as hell and I don't have lots of gold (seriously, getting to 1 mill is big for me) and my next upgrade will be a shield with better blockchance. Anything else I'm missing? I'm currently doing Ghom, I'm mostly OK, still die here and there to stupid elite affixes, what could I do to start farming Cydeia and Azmodan?

I would upgrade shield first (something with 20+% block), that will most likely cost more then one million. Then your pants could have more all resist and your helm could have a socket. But really you should be able to farm Azmodian already. On your skills. When I cleared act 3 and 4 as sword and board I stopped using revenge and used ignore pain. ignore pain lets you survive better at specific points where revenge is a constant heal (which your loh already should give you enough of)

EDIT: Also one more thing to consider, since my DPS is really low, Revenge gives me a good source of AoE damage, I think I'd have to get my DPS to at least 40k so Rend can take over as the sole source of AoE damage.

True. If you get 3% lifesteal on your wep and 2.8 - 3 % on your belt you can drop revenge and rely on lifesteal from both main attack and rend with ravage. I nabbed a 900+dps axe with leech and a socket, pushed my damage from 27k to 25k (buffed) and I still seem to keep up the sustain against elites. I'll have to save up a bit for the belt, but so far I'm loving my new chopper ![]()
