Everything very low... They really want us to alternate between mana spenders and gainers it seems. Nothing really stands out to me as exploitable. These numbers almost makes me want to use seeker or something that at least will get a hit every time I fire it.
btw, was death blossom at 0.6 before patch as well?

I got a Cindercoat and some fire damage bracers so I switched to fire. I found the selection of fire spells to be lacking. Meteor swarm is good but it is the only viable spender to spam. I tried arcane orb - scorch and it felt terrible.
Arcane and frost are better. Arcane has the most variety. I tried both frozen orb and comet for frost and liked both. Frozen orb was really fun.

I really liked this build when playing fire, you should try it out! It may not be the most competitive spec, but a lot of fun!

I tried it for a little while. I found it too annoying to chase mobs when playing a supposedly ranged character, especially since I wasn't getting any benefit compared to using a ranged skill.

Well for funzies I decided that the best way to increase act finishing speed is really buff CDR wizard with teleport wormhole and oculus with -4s to teleport.
Sad note: it goes -4 and then applies the CDR.
But 7s CD wormhole teleport is still pretty sick. You can get CDR(5%, up to 6%) on shoulders, a diamond in helm, and I have a hellfire ring which has 7% CDR for a total of 40% CDR evocation for 20% and -4s on teleport from oculus.
Still moves ludicrously fast in combination with warzechian armguards(speed boost on debris kill)
Oh my god empowered shrines are a godsend. Much teleports.
Managed to get to and kill SK in about 18 minutes on torment 1. Probably could've cut a couple minutes off the time if I stopped less, but even on torment 1 stopping to launch a couple frozen orbs at large groups is too tempting. Also had to search all 3 defiled crypts for the crown.

Have people tried ice armor with the ice reflect rune? I find it saves me a lot, and I'm really interested if it is involved in a build. I can see it used in melee wizard builds as it seems to proc a lot. Couple it with frost nova as well, and you have essentially two on demand stuns. I imagine building around it would work well right now. I find it really helpful, so I figured I'd ask around if there is anything out there involving it. Everyone seems to prefer prismatic armor due to the crits.

So how would you rate my wizard with regards to gear and build for T4 solo farming?
http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Enickma-2780/hero/3372093
Like many others I was a CM/WW wizard doing MP5 solo runs without too much trouble.
I'm generally contempt with my FO build as it is. The only thing I'm really exchanging on a regular basis is the Energy Amor slot. Also I'm a bit undecided whether to use Safe Passage or Calamity.
The two passives Prodigy and Illusionist are pretty much set in stone for me but I'm wondering if I should stick to Blur or use Cold Blooded instead.
Any tips and pointers for the new 2.0.1 gameplay would be much appreciated

People use prismatic armor because they don't have 45% or more crit. Otherwise, if you've got cold gear, use ray of frost/sleet storm + ice armor and frost nova to combo all your melee range static ice damage.

i think your toughness is too low and you arent running the armor spells/passives necessary to buff it up. i think you will have a hard time. at best, you will be kiting forever and it wont be too efficient. the tp allows you to escape bad situations, but i feel that will be most situations. i would start with t3 and work your way up.
also, i think your ias is not going to be as good if you are using a frozen orb build. crit/crit dmg are probably better.

also, i put random crap dropped on teh ground on AH and got like 30M instantly (thats about a 1/3 of all gold i made on AH previously). i would keep the gems, farm and sell the crap you find on the ground if you want to make gold. now, i just put everything thats semi decent on the AH to see what i can get since people apparently have money to burn.

Gold will be very useful in the xpac for enchanting gear. I played the beta for 2 days, got to 70, and almost instantly bled 15mil gold on enchanting just the rares I had. Now picture how much it'll take if you play more than those 2 days, and try to get the best enchants on legendaries and stuff. It adds up really fast because every subsequent enchanting reroll on the same piece of gear costs more than before.

Otherwise, if you've got cold gear, use ray of frost/sleet storm + ice armor and frost nova to combo all your melee range static ice damage. Honestly speaking, the way spenders and APOC are right now, you just want as much crit as possible. A single frozen orb cast vs. 2 electrocutes is like a 2-3x DPCT increase single target, more on mobs. AS doesn't actually help that much because if you get too much, at least with frozen orb builds, you can blow your AP pool before the orbs actually explode and start returning AP. Even with 59% crit I'd still get more if I could even though AS is almost twice as efficient per paragon point for sheet dps at this point in time.
For my current gear, I have 5k life on kill and 1k LoH, 300-400k damage and 600k-1m toughness depending on skills and gear. so I do sustain a fair amount. Not as much as a lifesteal weapon, but enough to survive so long as I kill stuff. I'd say for anything T5 and lower, 600k is probably enough because stuff dies so fast. T6, unless I'm doing cath 4 I have to swap out my witching hour for my other belt which bumps me 800k-1m toughness depending on the skills I'm using, and I still die really fast.

honestly, i still wouldnt sell my gems though unless i was not planning on playing for the next month. seems better to just rack up some paragon levels in anticipation for the release.

I underestimated my weapon: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/BigG-2621/hero/2690685
At first I was disappointed (terrible design in my opinion, the squealing isn't even that funny), but after a week of farming I can say that almost nothing beats it. High dps/ehp boost, resource cost reduction, damage bonus vs beasts (which is surprisingly useful). Sadly it's a fast weapon, not the best for Frozen Orb, but due to skills and Tal Rasha's set I'm still able to spam everything, so whatever.
Edit: b.net profile is a bit off, toughness should be 900k and I don't know where those gloves comes from :S

So how do you like my new Fire Wizard?
http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Enickma-2780/hero/3372093
I've recently switched from a Frozen Orb build just to try it out. I seem to be enjoying it much more with all the Meteors flying around so that's nice It may not be entirely as effective as FO? But I'm having fun so for the time being I'd like to optimise this build with better gear
Never really understod Archon just for Elites but after I've tried it it's working really well for speedier kills.
I'm running T4 and I know I soon have to replace my LS Skorn but only once I've hit 70. Hope the build will still work without LS as that shit is just OP right now. Almost forgot I had a Skorn as I've been playing with Chantodo for CM/WW. Can fully understand why Blizzard is taking LS out of the game.

Wouldn't a green gem in your Skorn get you more damage?

I tried it out, and it was great fun with my CM/WW gear. sooo much mana so fast with 2.7 a/s and 19 APOC. so many meteors!
For the lulz, go shockwave with the fire rune instead of meteor, get as much a/s as you can, and spam that stomp! :D Looks so silly!
