as for what you are looking to buy, get a xbow with socket, and maybe vit on it. they are very cheap at the moment you can get a 1200 dps socket with 100+ vit for a few million. the rest of the gear you just use the 'best piece under 100k/200k etc' method. you need to get some survivability in addition to dmg. look at mystical's 5m dh guide for some ideas edit: i see you've made a lot of upgrades already so...it's your choice if you keep the quiver or not. you should get a better weapon though.

Also when I'm at 120-130k DPS without sharpshooter, what helps me more to get more damage ... getting more crit or getting more attack speed? ... or I guess just maxing out on Dex for each slot? I'm at 39% crit chance and 46% attack speed and +2183 dex. how the hell do guys get such insane DPS numbers 250k+ dps without sharpshooter.

I am running 49 Disc and I try to keep Gloom up 100%, but no matter what I do some faster mob(s) always end up killing me in 3-4 hits. I have 26k life and 130 Allres, and I do 60k DPS without SS. I know how to kite, have +12% runspeed, and know to pop smoke/gloom when needed. What is going wrong here? Is it just my tactics? http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/SiRe-1336/hero/14303428 Probably just your tactics/skills. No point in using ball lightning if you're going to kite constantly, it's much easier firing off a loaded for bear cluster arrow quickly, and continue kiting. I use vault (toc) in order to keep distance, I only need Gloom when reflect damage comes (or if something gets to close). RoV flying strike is helpful too. Iunno though, I have slightly better stats than you too, so it this works for me, you can give it a try. heres my profile if you wanna look at it. edit: rofl I thought I posted my profile http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Ym1r-1314/hero/836883 I just started doing act 3, only died a couple times due to me not paying attention and watching korean dramas instead. I like doing something while I'm farming, so I don't get bored out of my mind.

I have 40k hp, 3000 armor and 200 all res with 40k dps, i dont play for long, all my items are basically max 200k at auction house. I think not dying is worth more than a bit more dps, since you have to run back and spend gold repairing. i guess once you oneshot everything with 150k dps, you can go back to running around with 20k life.

I'd also like to know which pieces of gear I could upgrade most cost-efficiently, I'm thinking a weapon with higher dps and crit dmg. http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Cenja-2928/hero/7060198

Cluster Arrow, Multishot or Elemental Arrow? Also do you guys use both smoke screen and shadow power or one of them with another hatred spender? If so which? I'd also like to know which pieces of gear I could upgrade most cost-efficiently, I'm thinking a weapon with higher dps and crit dmg. http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Cenja-2928/hero/7060198 There really is no reason for a second hatred spender, but you should swap out Elemental arrow for Cluster/Loaded for Bear. The strength of Ele is that with high attack speed, you can hit multiple targets multiple times. If you're just going to shoot a Crossbow, you want those shots to hurt because they aren't coming very fast. Cluster allows you to blow shit up. Most people use Shadow Power/Gloom generously and save Smokescreen/Lingering Fog to be kind of an "Oh Shit" button. I use them both, and recommend you do the same. As far as your gear, your bow could easily be upgraded. A socket and a Star gem will give you an extra 30% crit damage. Your rings are both really bad. Prioritize crit damage, and chance on them above Dex if you can afford high rolls for all three. Also, you've got 3 Disc spells... you might consider finding a chest with some disc as well. You can also get disc on rings. I picked up a legacy SOJ with disc for 400k recently.

60k+ dps 25k-40k life (I'm a discipline lover so I don't think I'll need as much life). 300 Physical Resist 250 AR or is that a bit on the low end?

I think if he got a little more crit damage he would see a huge bump compared to the 4 crit chance he's getting on that ring. But its a little bumpy and maybe slow, but the doubled lvl 63 loot compared to act 2 might be worth it.

I'm thinking either a Skull Grasp (1.04), Ouroboros, or just Life Steal on a Crossbow...any other good options?

If u only need 200-300, just get a loh ring to swap. It should take the least hit on ur dps and your cheapest option. Personally, I use a [800+]bow with 800loh, socket (300loh), lifesteal and a 600loh ammy for swap.
