I have 133% base mf, 30k hp, 20k dps(I really need one of those imba 800 dmg bows T_T), and so far have had no troubles on Act I. Bosses are generally not a problem if you find party since DH is imba and you can always smoke screen res your teamates. Sadly there really is no need to be cute with builds, all you need to do is hit hard while being invisible/invincible. The only other spell I use besides those 3 is rain of veng + stapede since it is CD based. I don't know what blizz was thinking when designing smoke screen, but the fact that it removes negative buffs, and can be maintained forever with the right timing and/or items, it makes the game too easy.

Since I posted my skillbuild here, I thought I'd show you the handsomest Demon Hunter on Battle.NET as well! ![]() The irony is that I'm barely 4 levels higher than you and have a rare bow that does about twice the DPS of the Raven's Wing, adds attack speed and dex. (I pretty much lay waste to everything in NM). Uniques are barely ever the best items in this game (I've switched my unique quiver for a blue one that gave me +120dex). I spend quite a lot of time browsing the AH each day, trying to find the best bang-for-buck items.

It's interesting how the perma smoke screen DH, perma invulnerable Monk, and low HP force armor Wiz were theorycrafted during the beta and Blizzard didn't do anything about them. What's the perma invulnerable monk build?

it was hotfixed, 4 monks using their invulerability runed for party, pretty pathetic that blizzard designers didnt see that one coming.

It's silly that they didn't add a debuff in the first place - like in any other game they have. WarCraft 3 with healing items, etc.

seeking arrow - multishot rapid fire - rocket thingy life steal skill - movespeed rune mark - fury generator rune volley - discipline generator vault - tumble steady aim passive(the 1 that gives u more damage when nothing is close) vault movespeed the really good weapon mastery I find that this let me kite really well in inferno while sustaining both resources.

LvL 60, almost to act 2 in inferno. I've been using this grenadier spec since hell, and I can't seem to part with it. I may swap the grenade rune to the +6 hatred one, not sure. The trick of this build is to find the right distance for the cluster bombs all to hit the same target. If you get the distance right, you can make the vast majority of the grenades all hit the same spot. I'll get 7-9 20-30k hits with 40-50k crits mixed in—all on one spot if I line it up correctly. It's incredible aoe and single target dps. I'll one or two shot most clumped mob packs at the end of act 1 on inferno. The build is based around large damage bursts with cluster bombs; consequently, fast moving mobs can be tough to deal with if you aren't good with caltrop stuns. When fighting with group: caltrop preemptively, mark of death the boss/elite/whatever you want, spam cluster bombs then grenades to refill, watch giant chunks of health vanish. Use prep to heal if needed. When solo/separated from group: Layer caltrops, one at the edge of each previous caltrop, and stutter step backwards using cluster bombs when possible. Use prep when your discipline runs out and repeat. If you time it right, you can stun them in place with caltrops while your cluster bombs pound them. It's great fun. Also, use Vault stun as an offensive utility if a group member is in trouble; you can even vault stun, run back, and hit the stunned mob with cluster bombs if you're quick enough. Possible changes: Switch prep to shadow power w/ hatred regen. You can pop shadow power before spamming cluster bombs and refill your health that way. Switch Mark of death rune to the +hatred generator one, swap it out for 15% damage reduction turret, or whatever; this skill is more of a utility spot. Pick one that benefits your group. Good find!

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#ZUhXTY!abc!bbYbZb The runes change depending on situations, but I don't see any reason this build wouldn't be able to continue being viable going forward. Basically I usually run in (smokescreen for safety if i need to), drop a caltrops/fan of knives combo to open up, then I just kite around dropping caltrops and lining up the best impale shots I can while dodging whatever spells are coming my way. Caltrops+ grenades to regen, and repeat! I currently have 1600 dps with a 138 dmg spear and 10k health and act 3 nightmare is a breeze.

I just seem to keep getting awesome dex based melee weapons (spear, dagger, 1h sword) and shields, better than the bows I'm finding and I really can't find any reason NOT to play this build so I keep with it. The extra survivability that comes from a good shield is awesome. http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#ZUhXTY!abc!bbYbZb The runes change depending on situations, but I don't see any reason this build wouldn't be able to continue being viable going forward. Anything is viable in Nightmare if you have some basic survivability. No offense, but show us again if it's still viable closer to 60. Cool that you have a fun gimmick build, and I'd love to know if it DOES work, but at this point, it's pure speculation.

(Something I never confirmed because against any mobs that matter, I've never been close enough on the screen to keep track of the arrows).
