You really ought to use your brains more if this is your line of thought, especially since Blizzard has often said Normal difficulty will be easy for experienced gamers and a way to train inexperienced ones up to a standard. People seem to forget there is Nightmare, Hell and Inferno to go. Apparently Inferno is so hard the developers themselves are afraid to play it...
Inferno hardcore ladder play. See you there people. you sir are a smart man I can't attack with the weapon i put in my hand playing as witch dr. Why? I can't choose where to invest points in vitality and intelligence etc when I level, why? I want to put other moves on left and right click rather than 1,2,3,4 ? You're going to tell me once I am in Nightmare I can invest stat points where I want when I level? Or that once in nightmare i can put an attack with my main hand onto left click?

So I'ms still not in the beta... Oh well. With 5 finals MTWRF I guess I'd better not get invested into this open opt-in anyways. Life can be cruel and tempting sometimes.

Go into options and select elective mode then you can put your skills anywhere you want. Yes, blizzard is dumb for doing this.

It is pretty easy to dump 10 hours + in a single char if you to get him to have reaaaal high dps(or MF). You'll need a lot of magic drops to get the right random attributes in your crafted items. If I were blizzard I'd make the second act 1 boss really tough so people get down from their high horses, come on the game needs to have a lot of challenges BEFORE inferno, we had duriel making people tping+1 spell+tping in act 2 normal. And if final Act 1 boss is proportional to Andariel, we'll have an at least fun fight.

To be fair stats points distribution don't really make me go "yes". Reminds me of Ragnarok Online and needing to level 5 different Assassins for 5 different builds, it just made me have less time. And you'll never need to attack in Diablo 3 ,it is dumb, if you had read your skills you'd know that, your witch dr. regens mana faster than his 140% damage skill spends it. Why would you ever attack please explain me your pro thought behind that.

Just found out you can have more than one of the same type of skill (like primary/defensive/etc). It'd be cool if the interface let me know that.

Blizzard shouldn't have even invented this skilltypes, is like they think we have shit for brains, we can figure our shit out ourselves, it is beyond obvious and actually, pretty simple to figure out how each class work in that basic level..

Elective mode allows you to move skills where you want so if you can't move them than you're doing something wrong.
If you drag the skill out of the left mouse / right mouse slot, you're get the primary attack. At least that's how it works for a barb.

Yeah. Would've been much better if they just showed us a list of skills and let us drag and drop on our action bars to our preference. Even WoW's interace lets people do that ffs.
I spent my entire time on the beta so far thinking I can only have 1 primary, 1 secondary, 1 _____, etc. ready the entire time because that's basically what the interface told me.

Elective mode is the biggest joke in the game TBH.
Only thing I don't like... it makes it so hard to find the skills I want and I hardly have any yet...
|
Yea... they should redo the interface so you have every skill on one page.
I have like 6 skills total and have to scroll through their shitty menu just to find them.

Well at least I can say you'll get used to it, and in half an hour you'll be cruising through this system with ease, but it is a shitty fuckload of crap system

Odd thing is I played everything perfectly fine until they changed everything to open. Now I can't even download the file and it is making me a really sad panda.

Am i doing something wrong? I get lag spikes whenever something has an 'interaction' in the game, like loot falling out, or attacking a mob. it semi-skips the animation, and i cant tell its kind of sketchy some places also, no matter what setting i have it on. i have a gtx 570, and an i5 2500k 4.5ghz, temps were all normal and hardly full load.

I have this at the start of a game and then its smooth as if the game doesn't preload correctly, does it keeps happening after youve played 20 minutes ?
