Open beta is only for the weekend.

You do not keep your beta character for release.

Gah, can't get teh update to download anything.
I'm guessing it's because I used the locale selector and it's messing up (downloading updates from NA with servers messed up) deleted the ProgramData Bnet folder and now trying again.
I'm on my mobile phones 50kbps now though :/ want to playah!

After choosing the start game option. It always come to a point where it says: Your client has been disconnected from the server.

Anyone having the same problem?

Really wish they would change their minds on this 4 player max. Now that all my friends got beta they want to group up the issue is there is too many of us, so we gotta split up and crap and it sucks for the odd guys out. Even just bumping it to 6 would be a massive improvement.

I agree, 4 players isn't even enough to have 1 of every class in the same game.

Played a couple hours tonight. I only finished three quarters of Diablo 1, and I'm not even through the first act of Diablo 2.

That said, I'm having fun with Diablo 3. Demon Hunter seems to be a pretty fun class, and it runs somewhat decently on my Intel HD 3000 integrated graphics card with i5 processor.

OK, this game is awsome. At first I played the DH, I thought it was a bit boring at first, just because there are so few enemies in the beginning, but once you get to the cathedral it gets better and then it's great. Barbarian is great fun also, smashing everything around him.
This game is so much better in the beginning then D2, in D2 you were just running around hitting stuff with your weapon in the beginning, just because you did not have enough mana to use any skills, and you did not want to waste skill points. That is so much better here.

My computer has been overheating, so I set all my graphics to low, set my thermostat to 65 F, and I'm trying again.

I meet minimum reqs by the way, laptop from 2010.

not sure what I should think about this game. It didnt excatly blow me away. I played a Wizard and the controls feel very clunky. The "skilltrees" are imho worse than the ones from D2. The graphics are nice there's no denying that. The story seems solid.

all in all I'd say D3 will be a solid game but nothing exceptional.

The game is amazing. Played with a monk for a couple of hours, still have to kill the Final beta boss and I definitely enjoyed it. Graphics are great, physics makes things more fun and the sound and visual effects are just incredible. Playing with friends makes it even more fun actually, so I can't wait till the 15th of May. Day one purchase.

yeah , I was actually SO excited about D3 , but Im playing a wizard and god it feels awful.

Monk is quite OK.

but i dont know , i had so much fun with PoE and GW2 is coming too... maybe i dont even buy D3.

ill think about it. Not saying the game is crap , i mean its fun but... this beta just didnt meet my expectations and the ambience feels so WoWish (no gore at all) for being a diablo.

Started with the wizard, felt kind of challenging at times when many elites combined with normal minions are on you. Totally feels like the wizard needs the most skill to play, I had to run and juke all the time so it kinda felt abit hard. Maybe I just lure too many creatures on me? oh well.. Afterwards I made an barbarian and it just smashes through everything like nothing, kinda like I'm playing on a totally other difficulty than the wizard lol
