Open the Textures.mqp with an MQP extractor, look at the file names;
Textures\shoulderPads_wizF_hell_base_05a_tint.tex Textures\shoulderPads_WDM_hell_base_02a_diff.tex
etc..
It would seem they left out everything in that file (there is normal, nightmare and hell suffixes), instead of cutting stuff out as they did for the other MQPs (only leaving Act1 stuff in).
Now have a look at http://diablo3dev.com/w/Textures
And with that it would seem possible to generate the output on the models, so I highly doubt they are fake.
EDIT: weapons only have normal versions tho, this makes me think theses textures were left there on purpose.

I don't like the current style, I'd much rather a more gothic dark style than the cyan-green fest their going for right now.

yes but if people are claiming its better than WoW armor, it must have some professionalism and i doubt someone invested so much time to make a fake and it isnt just one set, its like 20

I'm actually satisfied with the vast majority of them. Barb is definitely great looking.

This is not Diablo that i've known =(
Something new are nice but not this kind of armor =(
I remembered wearing wing helm, grim helm or crown as a barb was so cool.

Some look nice, a lot look stupid. Im dying to know what their stats are though. Will probably me me drool, and let the silly looking ones make more sense.

Very impressive, very sexy. That's just because of the coloring. Once they start adding in blue, green and orange, you'll get the WoW tingle back.
They are too flashy, with too many ornaments, doodads, too burdensome -and those shoulders, oh, THOSE SHOULDERS! Do you remember the armor sets in Dragon Age Origin? They were simple , functional, but awesome. These are awesome too, but I am afraid they will poke in their own eye, maybe even with the helmet on. I want my hero to look scary, not like a christmas tree.
