Other than the shoulder armor I don't mind most of these, some of the barbarian sets are pretty badass. The Wizard sets are perhaps a little to armor-y and not robe-y enough for me but oh well, I'll get used to that. Everything but the shoulders...
Eh, Warhammer 40K did huge-ass pauldrons waaaaaaaay before WoW and SC2. Plus, I think Warcraft 3 had some rather large pauldrons.
Anyways, interesting art direction. I'm not very familiar with D1 and D2 art styles as I only recently began playing them, but I think D3's art direction seems to be acceptable. It's more detailed and less stylistic compared to WoW, and the colors on many of the armor sets look less bright compared to WoW armor. However, D3 probably shares a lot of the artists with WoW and other games, so the similar art styles can be expected as it's kinda hard to create so many armor styles in so many different games.

I like them (save the Wizard ones).
I actually think they are a nice step away from WoW armors, not towards them. A lot of them are simple and really scream "barbarian" or "monk."
My fav are the blue monk one and the very first barbarian one.

The monk ones are particularly good in keeping with the theme for the class.

I have never been a fan of how most artist design uber equipment. An outfit should have a focus and compliments. All this armor is just 'super cool' thrown in together, but it makes it an eye sore.

Im sure even the artists are unhappy in the end with half the stuff they make. They have a tough job of having to make the new stuff seem cooler than the last cool stuff they made. Stuffs gonna get garish after awhile...

Those look super neat. I could never get over how stupid my Hammerdin looked with Enigma, Shako and HotO. Like a fucking clown, that's what.

WitchDocs look the coolest IMO. Voodoo Headdress FTW.
The Barbs were good the rest of the classes were pretty meh.

Don't think they're fake, I've seen them reported on incgamers also. They were datamined I guess.
Did someone else get the urge to stand up and yell: "We are, V-R, troopers!" Or "Decepticons, ATTACK!"? 
Can't say anything about these now, have to see them in the real D3 engine and environment first.

all i could think of that whole video, was, my god, the music is so in your face, all the time, terrible idea blizzard, cman, how can i sit there and look at my gear when theres no tristram soft atmospheric music. but seriously now, sick looking armor lol

Really liking the Barb and DH sets. Monk probably has the worst of the bunch, but there aren't any I actually hate. Nice job, Blizz.

Demon Hunter sets are the best looking, Can't make my mind up if i want to play Wizard or DH. If only there was somewhere to play before the game was released *hint* *hint*
