As I understand it, roaches can attack the entire cliff because its small. This should be fine, but we'll see. Just adds another cool dynamic to the game.

This is so great. I just hope we will be able to ladder on the same maps so that players newer to the competitive scene will have a shot at practicing on them. It is definately a step in the right direction though.

Maps look beautiful. Cant wait to see the evolution of play on these. Hope they are used in the next GSL (and, in my wildest dreams, the ladder map pool; maybe the delay pertains to maps :D)

This is exactly right. Games on current Blizzard maps are SO boring on 1-2base (no harass), these will be shockingly entertaining games I think.

Crossfire is a horrible map for Zerg against toss. There are really only two place to attack the toss and that's at both nats bc the middle of the map consists of norrow ground. No place to get a surround or good concave

Nope. It looks way better when u play the map instead just look at it. There are plenty of good concaves u can make. I love the map and Im Zerg.

Definitely better map than both Delta or Steppes.

I sincerely hope Blizzard steps up and does the same swaps for the ladder as they are doing for the GSL. Otherwise the pros who are playing in the GSL won't have any reason to use the ladder - what if they hit a map that's not in the GSL? It would be a complete waste of time.
