roach range... is fine? people always march roaches up to melee range anyway so that 3 rows of roaches can attack. only thing this will change is roach kiting with stim or reapers... rax requiring a depot sucks to me. sure terran has alot of early game options. but removing them instead of adding options to other races i think is a bad idea. reaper speed at factory, roach range increase. depot before rax. who is ever going to build a reaper. ever again? the only buff i could see roaches needing is their 2 armor back. when they nerfed roaches it was like 2 stages. first stage was a gentle nudge. second stage was like a curb stomp. they should undo the "gentle nudge" changes... also increasing zerg building HP. i dunno. i liked LzGaMeR's suggestion (probably alot of other people's) which was to make marauders +10 armored damage not apply to structures. have to say. im not looking forward to this patch =\ | ||

The reaper change is a teamgame issue btw, I doubt they changed it because of 1v1. I also doubt it will have any use in 1v1 anymore besides some scouting or xel'naga towering on maps like kulas. They removed Kulas from the map pool. imho this is bad. I'm saying this from a protoss player's perspective btw, but the reaper nerf was definitely overkill. does zerg structures really have that low HP anyway?.. whatever.. The one thing that I'm terrified about is the roach +range.. protoss units are the most expensive in game, and they're not cost effective against anything, the one good thing was that stalker could atleast kite roaches (before they got their speed upgrade). With this patch zerg will rofl stomp protoss, and especially if you try to go for forge FE (as the cannon placement played a huge roll to outrange roaches). Might as well go back to playing terran if this ends up getting too out of hand.. the terran nerfs are really not much to complain about. I mean how often don't you make a supply depot first anyway? and reapers are only good against zerg. The only good units for toss are the t3 HTs and collosi, and with roach range, I doubt we'll see an end game. Roach rush gg. Sorry for whining, but I'm just scared ^^ hope they change it. I wonder what the win statistics are for EU. | ||

That depot->rax thing might be a little too much but honestly, after all we zerg have been through, I'm going to say that's fine; it doesn't affect anything past early game anyway. | ||

The supply depot team game(and ends up making solo boring) nerf is just the wrong way to go about it, unfortunately it's that or destroy the reaper even more I guess. | ||
