And it'll take away several strategy options in tvt, basically replacing fast barracks aggressive builds with macro-cheeses which tended to be inviable with the viability of those aggressive barracks first builds. The reaper will basically have no niche to fill in all of sc2. The maurauder will outcompete it at all points in the game =/ Roach range increase might make pvz FE builds a little rockier, but maybe not. It will certainly make them more useful off creep, where they can't move very quickly. Fungal preventing blink seems like a natural extension of fungal's ability to prevent units from entering/leaving dropships, I'm only surprised they're only considering it now. | ||

Maybe if you go too far with it and get busted. The whole point of it is to delay the zerg. | ||

this changes force terran player to fully utilise reaper's mid-end game potential, they ARE a very good units, use them wisely. however i actually prefer if they make armory->allow you to upgrade, caused when we scout a factory early (as we will know probably hellion is coming), now there is another chance that the player may still go reaper (speed). roach speed buff is an awesome news (they are really some mediocre units) while i just hope it is a direct buff rather an actual upgrade option in roach warren lol. | ||

I don't understand these claims that Hydra are inviable in ZvT. Artosis and Dimaga have both recently shown us that hydra builds are great against Terran. Check out recent replays from both players. They're going Hydra in almost every game. | ||

They can hit the cannon if their range is only four? I don't believe they specified the range. At the moment, you can put a gateway, and space a cannon one space away. If the roach attacks the gateway, the roach will be in range of a cannon. However, if the roach tries to attack the cannon, it will just barely not be able to hit it because of the gate in the way.
