That is the entire point, Reaper shouldn't even be in the game at all, though Terran can still build one for scouting purposes, that is assuming they even need to scout.

I like that they're finally ironing out the TvZ balance and as a Zerg player I think they're going a little overboard to fix TvZ. The Roach change and maybe the factory change for reaper speed would have been plenty. The supply depot requirement compeltely screws things up imo, that wasn't necessary.

Nerfing early reapers is most certainly a change that has 1v1 in mind.

Reaper is not useless. If you scout with a reaper you basically save a mule. You maybe delay a unit for alittle bit, but you lost some gas but gain 300 minerals. Unless of course you don't like scouting, then maybe it is a useless unit.

Someone here had an interesting point, they are nerfing alot of the micro = godly units and strategies before boxer steps into tournaments. interesting...

WOW, what an amazing patch. The only downside I see here is that the opportunity cost for getting hydras has increased with the roach buff. Hydras are the unit that most needed the buff, imo. Still, these changes are really going to put zerg in the running.

If terran walls off going 10 supply 12 rax 13 gas the lings come by by the time the wall is done(unless you suply blocked yourself). Thus any decent Terran should never have an issue with 6 pool unless their screwing up the most basic opener

Not banelings, really. Banelings aren't light, so it takes eight shots to kill a baneling.

Close spawn on Delta q, and 7 cloak vs 11 cloak on metalop.

Six/seven pooling on a four player map is a bad idea. >.> Delta maybe, but it's still super risky. On Metal, you're hoping you're in close positions, or it doesn't work.


I tried to say that 6 pool doesnt work at all. Tarson went for slow rax after depot+gass, and was still able to hold of mardows 6 pool really easy.

lol if T has an advantage over Z because of a greater variability in strategies its definitely not the solution to shut out strategies for T...and at a lower level these changes are not gonna matter at all anyway

Or build a rax which actually has health, and costs 150m as opposed to 50/50, and doesn't take build time away from useful units. Even then, I don't like a unit that's ONLY good for scouting.

I look at it kind of like the protoss need a pylon to get a gate? The reason people might be mad is because terran have never had to spend 100 minerals before units producing structure.

Also i would have liked a hydra buff more than a roach buff.

4x2 = 8 dmg per shot to non light units
baneling 30 hp

I'm probably late, but metalopolis, he scouted it 5 seconds before the lings went up his ramp, his first barracks was just started, and he couldn't wall off.
