I said that nowadays "most" Germans know about how the gassing of jews was wrong, and you know how the germans disposed of kids in concentration camps? They beat their heads against walls(yeah, its kind of first grade common sense not to do that). i drive a hyundai (korean), and i've really gotten extremely good quality and service from them. aside from the awesome warranties, they compensated every owner of a 2002 santa fe with an extension of any of their three warranties because they had advertised the car at 183 hp and later realized it was only 171 (or something similar to that). i guess i have no fact-based opinion about how this relates to korean-japanese relations or contrasts, but thx korea for the car 
also, sky101 is right...that is what drives our economy, and furthermore, american cars are just as problematic and poorly crafted (if not worse) than any others commonly seen in america.

As far as i noe all Koreans have at least some hatred against the Japanese because of the occupation during the 1900's.
