So, some people have good reason to think that about Germans even if it's not right..

Something I want to know about.
Untill the late 1990's there was a law in Korea that banned all Japanese Music, Videogames, etc. (part of the reason Koreans played PC games, because getting consoles in was too hard). Wbat's the deal with that?

1. Every country has it's alcoholics lol. In fact Germany is ranked #3 in beer consumation after Czech Republic(#1) and USA(#2)
2. I've NEVER (and when I say NEVER I really mean it) heard a german saying bulgaria is a gipsy country or sort of.
Bulgaria is becoming more and more one of the most popular country for vacation in germany
I've personally never known any bulgarian, but I can't imagine a reason for a bulgarian to hate germans
Germany for sure still has racists as well as other countries, but i think it's even less than in other countries in europe

I think it's sad that the Japanese are catching so much hate from other Asian countries. You can be mad at the government and the military, but what about the regular citizens? How do they deserve unfair treatment? It's not like I or any one else my age had anything to do with the wars or what happened.

Read about the rape of Nanking, then go ask an average Japanese about it. At least 80% of Japanese deny it ever happened, they're taught the Asian countries that were occupied in WWII are over-dramatizing events and Japan didn't do a quarter of the bad things people claim (with facts, mass graves, pictures, eye-witness accounts).
Japan WAS a brutal, imperialistic country that viewed itself somewhat like the nazies did, as a master race. Unlike Germans however, who fully understood what happened in WWII and the holocaust, the Japanese are blind and refuse to take full responsibilties for their actions.
An average Japanese would be highly offended and shocked if he went into any of the WWII museums in China, Korea or Vietnam.

O yeah also, the Japanese kids aren't even taught about what their army did to the other Asian nations. So you can basically liken the hatred of Asian countries to the hate Jews have for Nazis.
Germany was wrong in WW2 but they admitted it, taught their kids about how its wrong to gas people and to beat little children. However most(not all) Japanese kids never really even learn in school that what they did in WW2, many still maintain that the U.S. was wrong to drop the nukes on them(maybe the U.S. was).

Maybe if you hadn't been too poor you would have realized that THAT is how the economy prospers.
